Gearing is ~25% as a result of the placement last month. Which is very good compared to most of the other REITs.

They keep doing DRIP which even though in reality doesn't do much to hurt small time investor like me, doesn't make me feel good..

Hopefully the management is planning to expand portfolios or planning in advance for interest rate hikes..

Do you all feel REITs will drop further with tapering nearby?

The bond market has already priced in the Fed tapering in Sept this year, thus do not expect our REITs to outperform like they did in the beginning of the year. Unless the Fed screw up in the tapering process, we may not see the kind of correction in the REITs price during May/Jun period.

Conclusion, if you want to punt for the short term during the results/dividend period, please thread carefully. If you are looking for mid-long term investment in REITs, you may want to hold off till the end of the year.

Hmmm. Will it be a correction or a restart.. What you experts think the period be for?

I am no expert, just sharing my 2-cents worth of views.

If you are referring to the REITs 15-20% correction we had seen during the May/Jun period, I think it is highly unlikely to happen again even when the Fed actually tapers its bond purchase, be it in Sep or Dec this year. This is because this event had already been priced in the bonds market.

my 1st stock was singtel, took profit recently, will look to re-enter come sept...

i won't bother with reits below 1.50 now, slowly removing them from watchlist.
singpost surprised me with its stable price range, will observe how it cope come sept.

CMT by far, has solid support at 1.95 while FCT which is slightly less solid at 1.825

something i learned recently at ocbc TA seminar:
"cheap stocks can become much more cheaper or remain cheap for a much longer time than you can imagine".

I bought Starhill Reit during the days of $0.60 range. Should I realise the profits soon and re-enter in Sept? I dun think the price will drop back to 2011 days.

been looking at starhill as well during the last 2 months, support at 0.80
below 0.80, you better plan to stop loss.

resistance at $1, failed to break out during early may.
