DPU. Cos I read from some bros that this is the last year company giving 100% to public. Or am i wrong ?

Yep, no more 100% from next year. But current yield is around 7%, so 90% of that is around 6.3% which is quite average for REITs now... right? :o

True also. Base on the graphs, its been going up at a constant rate. So I think its a good investment for long term. :)

Wished i got more funds to dump into more reits though. The thought of collecting 'rents' once every 3 mths is really very attractive.

any feeling on how lippo will do??

In my opinion, in the coming few quarters DPU will probably drop (slightly?) because the acquisitions they made are not yield accretive. After looking closely at the recent acquisitions of 6 properties, I have divested my entire stake in Lippo. Even though I only expect DPU to dip slightly, the acquisitions made me doubt the management's intentions and ability to maximise value for shareholders.

Having said that, it may be the case that the management may feel that the properties they acquired have the potential to contribute more in the future. If that is the case, then my doubts will obviously be proven wrong. (If I'm always right then I won't need to be working anymore :p)

Since the management has disappointed me for quite some time now, I chose to sell my entire holdings in Lippo beacuse I have had enough and would seek to place my money and faith elsewhere. Missing any potential upside in the future is a risk I'm willing to take :)

No idea. I dun use - and will never use - SCB. So can't help you here.

Only SCB will think about using SMS for corporate action. Sure you may say its innovative and hi tech etc etc.. but the legality of it is debatable and questionable. Why would SCB want to expose themselves to such hassle is beyond me.

And the fact that SCB customers are clueless about what responding or not responding to the SMS means speak volume! 'Nuff said.:s8:
