This is probably not related to cd. But with interest rates going up the cd can't protect you as much right?

Hi have a question.

For REITs, is there any stages where one should not buy the counter? E.g. CD , XD etc. Asking because suppose you are adding to your portfolio every month on a certain date. Should things like CD / XD affect whether that counter should be considered for buying? If so, how does it affect things? Thanks.

since you are doing a monthly purchase and for the long haul, then the actual execution time is not important.

for an example, Parkway Life IPO in 2007 at $1.28. Does it matter if you buy at $1.40 or $1.48 and still holding the shares until now?

So what is the best reit to get now?

You missed the very recent sales, where REITs like CMT, FCT, Suntec and etc having good discount.

I would wait for the next sales season, just make sure I got the cash ready. Just my own thought ..
