Anyone can explain the advanced distribution of ascott?

They are doing placement so more units will be issued. But these placement units do not and should not be entitled to any distributions 'earned' for the period from 1 Jan to 5 Feb. So an advanced distributions is given out to existing unitholders.

If you want to be a REIT investor, you need to educate yourself on such basics. Advanced distributions are given out when placements are carried out.

Just bought capital mall trust and cache based on the comments here.. First foray into the reits market hope to get reasonable returns! Not looking into capital appreciation but hopefully steady price and dividend yield.. Is there any other reits that are worth considering? Keppel reits price din drop as much after Keppel corporation allow more reits to float.. SUNTEC reit price still quite high..

Not looking into capital appreciation but hopefully steady price and dividend yield.. Is there any other reits that are worth considering? Keppel reits price din drop as much after Keppel corporation allow more reits to float.. SUNTEC reit price still quite high..

Capmall Trust and FCT looks attractive to me amongst other Reits. Its yields are not the best but they are stable.
