Yea its a quaterly distribution payment, but I'm confused over how the distribution yield of 4.7% is calculated?

Not quarterly.

Half-yearly.

SGX.com is your best friend. :D

Jan 2012: $37.50 per lot

July 2012: $39.60 per lot

Total: $77.10

Price: $1.66

Yield: 4.64%

Please learn and remember. :)

Anyway DW, if say according to CCT 1Q report they use the last trading price of 1.705 on 18 Apr, which gives an annualized yield of 4.7%. Say i add 3.96c and 3.75c and divide by 1.705, i get 4.52% for annualized yield. Still not 4.7% eh...

Just checked the CCT distribution via their website:

1 January 2012 to 30 June 2012 3.96
1 July 2012 to 31 December 2012 4.08

Add up = 8.04, hence yield = 4.7%.

How come SGX show 3.94 and 3.75 huh?

While tracking the CDs on this thread, there are much capital gain on REITS counters too.

This is power of timely investment. This override power of CD!

Is Starhill Gbl REITS still attractive? This is one of few SG Reits that still trade below NAV, but it seems to reach its NAV soon (0.93 vs 0.96). From yield, it gives 4.839%, slightly higher than Capmall 4.46%..

Thanks for the consolidation addict. Very helpful.

Anyways CMT is up and although not reported in the banks analysis, it has been reported in reitsweek.com that Bugis Junction has just lost an anchor tenant. Advanced info for those who are vested in CapitaMalls Trust.

CMT has declined to comment on who this anchor tenant is. Speculation is still rife as to how badly this is going to affect Bugis junction and ultimately DPU for the rest of the year for CMT unit holders. It could be cold storage or BHG. If it's BHG then it's HUGE tenant.
