Hi Experts,

I'm planning to use my own car for Grab.
Where can I get the cheapest commercial insurance? I called ECICS and they told me they don't do already.

Thanks!

Hi Guys,

Sorry for using uber thread to ask about grab.

My family has a commercial van, and thinking of using it to work as Grab coach. I understand I'll need a copy of ACAR Bizfile.

What is that? If registering will it affect my family income, which means my father have to pay additional tax/insurance?

hi all, planning to become an uber/grab driver while schooling

any advise which rental company to rent from? and whether is it viable to still be an uber/grab driver now?

Uni student? Go give tuition. $50-$60 per hour, 3x more than driving, no risk also

diploma student with O levels only

my school is another side of singapore so got car more convenient to go to and fro. plus my class is during odd timing like 1530 to 1830. morning can drive after class can drive also

Student better to rent on hourly basis otherwise need to face rental charge everyday.

There are a lot of other part-time job to do rather than going into this risky business, the road is like a tiger's mouth you heard before? Take for example while driving suddenly a lorry bang onto your side, fault is not yours but motor insurance may still charges you an excess until case closed to show that you not at fault. It can drag for few months and money can goes up to few thousands dollars depends on your age etc. and when you are on the wheel the stress is only season driver know about it.

Suggest you to be relief driver.
Take e.g 7am to 7pm every day (since ur class end 630pm at most)
No need to face full rental charge and got time at night for revision

my class only for a few hours each day + not everyday. my down period is probably like 3 hours each day
