I was expecting someone to mention this when this thread started.
But I'm only a mod, what you expect me to do? :s11:
I did submit some ideas to Admin and admin say got changes coming up liao...

But, but but but, different nature.
This forum is based on more things than just MM/SSI so the crowd it attracts are bound to that nature. With a strong stock focus platform, the stock crowd will naturally move there. It's the reason why valuebuddies and other stock focus forum's crowd are not here.

I don't think it's possible to transform part of the hwz forum into something else. Like adding in portfolio, comparison etc...

Anyway, if you guys got any suggestion, do post it on feedback forum so the admin knows what you guys want. :)

actually its just a causal remark..never knew mod takes things so seriously:s13:
I understand the final decision is up to the administrators and staff here.Either way more competition is always good for us.

no anti competition behavior pls
google got slapped with heavy fines for filtering out their competitor's website.

i hope hwz will not behave in the same manner

if u wish for any new features please feel free to give your feedback

so far we thinking of stuff like being able to comment on ppl's portfolio, or the portfolio owner can post mcq questions for feedback

also current default is ranking the portfolios by total returns, what other ways would u guys prefer?

btw i got this idea called "what's hot, what's not"
since sgxcafe got the data of user's transaction, can use it to create a page that shows
on the left
"what's hot" the top 5 most bought stocks by users over the past 30days
on the right
"what's not" the top 5 most sold stocks by users over the past 30 days

dunno if got demand for such information? any feedback?

Couldn't you already see SGX most active stocks on many other sites? Just taking the most bought/sold from a subset of the market doesn't seem to have much practical point. Although, it could be used for comparison with the actual market figures to show how SGXCafe community differs. I.e., more aggressive, more lazy, etc.
