VoWiFi seems to work for my Poco X7 Pro.

Tested with a phone call with Data disabled.

VoNR does not seem to work for my Poco X7 Pro with the latest FW (HyperOS 2.0.204.0, pending future updates to HyperOS 3.0).

1) It will show a"5G+" and "VoLTE" when both "VoNR" option and "VoLTE" option are ON. Phone call works.

2) It does not show either "VoLTE" or "VoNR" if I turn off "VoLTE" option. And it will revert to show status "5G" and not "5G+". Phone call does not work either. This means VoNR does not work.

Above the ground, SingTel 5G SA coverage seems to be pretty good based my long Bus 154 trip today (on a Saturday afternoon), from Botanic Garden Bus Stop 41021 to Boon Lay Bus Interchange inside Jurong Point Shopping Centre.

I did not carry out any OOkla SpeedTests, but I could see my phone status showing 5G+ (5G SA) across the one hour seven minutes journey, from 3:19 pm to 4:26 pm.

yeah, similar to my observation as well, above ground, outdoor area, inside shopping mall, all pretty stable SA connection.

only inside mrt under tunnel will drop to NSA, for this scenario, this is where the priority plus plan comes in useful, it wont drop to NSA.

even eight's 5G SA will also drop to NSA under tunnel...

Using the following to enable the VoNR option for my Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro, but then I can only see VoLTE in the phone status bar, along with 5G+ (5G SA), not VoNR.

I guess VoNR is not supported by SingTel yet, right? Or this is the phone limitation under SingTel Mobile network?

If on WiFi, VoWiFi is shown in the status bar, if I change the setting to "Prefer Wi-FI" from the default "Prefer mobile networks" for the SIM Card's "Network preferences" options.

VoNR is turned off on the POCO X7 Pro by default. It can be turned on when your carrier supports it. Similar to VoLTE (Voice over 4G networks), VoNR is a voice call technology based on 5G networks, designed to provide a higher quality voice call experience. VoNR achieves lower latency and better voice clarity over 5G networks, while supporting higher bandwidth data transmission.
To enable VoNR, please refer to the following steps:
1. Enter *#*#8667#*#* on the phone’s dial, then your device will display the VoNR option;
2. Go to [Settings];
3. Tap [Mobile networks];
4. Select the SIM card that you want to use the VoNR;
5. Enable the [Use VoNR] option.

Note:
VoNR is not widely used at present, and in some areas, the voice call function of the 5G network is still being gradually deployed. Most devices and carriers will still give priority to using VoLTE technology for calls before there is sufficient 5G voice coverage.

I think VoNR could be device dependent, my S25 Ultra shows Vo5G (VoNR) after updating the firmware to Android 16 (One UI 8).

my oneplus 13 also does not show Vo5G, hopefully when andriod 16 arrives, it will be enable...

I feel Singtel 5G coverage is not bad for today's MRT journey on a Saturday afternoon, from Boon Lay MRT to Buona Vista MRT (East West Line), and then from Buona Vista to Botanic Garden (Circle Line). I got either 5G NSA or 5G SA connection across the board.

However, it is not ready for pure 5G SA, still need 5G NSA at quite some places.

Yes, Singtel's 5G (even the $15 plan) is miles better than M1's "True SA 5G" network (main M1, not Maxx nor any of their MVNO).

I was on M1's 5G and it sucked at underground/MRT/crowded places (e.g. library study zones). Literally no internet connection even though my phone states 5G. Sometimes even have to restart my phone to connect back to M1's mobile network. Drops to 4G quite often too at other times, like in common indoor areas (not underground). You literally have to be outdoors to get their 5G most of the times.

Same phone and user patterns on Singtel, but I am so much happier now (and paying lesser with Singtel at $15, versus M1's cheapest SIM-Only plan at $20++ in total).

Note:
M1's 5G is chargable for all SOP at $2.08 (after first 6 months of "free" promotion) and their Caller ID is also chargeable at $5.45 (after 2 months of "free" promo).
So, after just a few months with M1, you will need to pay $11.95 (their cheapest SOP pricing) plus $2.08 (5G access) plus $5.45 (Caller ID), and then 9% GST.
Total of more than $20 at M1 with way inferior 5G, compared to Singtel's $15 plan with similar benefits (Singtel's $15 SOP even have a big major plus point of 50GB free malaysia roaming).

Ya lor - if not how to trick you into thinking it is very cheap when signing up, then after awhile charge you all the extra costs for the critical basic features that most people will need?

Poco X7 Pro, SingTel S$15.28 per month SIM Only Plus Plan, 5G SA connection.
nperf test results at home (Jurong West Area, Pioneer SMC), different servers will have different latency.

1) OVH server (1Gbps)

2) OVH IPv6 server (1Gbps), worst latency among the three tests

3) Verizon server (1Gbps), best latency among the three tests.

Any iphone user can confirm that the status bar will show 5G or 5G+ on SOP?
I just recontract and is only showing 5G.
Btw my previous contract ends in Dec and I recontract last week. So you can recontract 2months early

i can confirm that on my Maxx 5G plan as well. Only 5G.

My Poco X4 GT and Poco X7 Pro can show 5G+ sign when using 5G SA connection, using S$15.28 per month SingTel SIM Only Plus plan.

My wife's S$15.28 per month SingTel SIM Only Plus plan just got activated today. Indeed her iPhone 14 512GB version does not show 5G+ status either, only 5G.

Speed is pretty decent, tested at home.

Just avoid their priority plans which is a scam and you should be fine. Their priority plans price is all chop carrot price one. I think the $15 plan is the most value for money .lol

Actually iPhone depends on the carrier update is able to show 5G+ just not showing for Singapore telcos yet.

My Poco X7 Pro Android phone is almost there. No settings like "5G Auto" though.

On the other hand, my new Poco X7 Pro seems to have pretty good battery life even on 5G mobile yesterday afternoon. That is probably because I was comparing it with my previous nearly-three-year-old Poco X4 GT.

I have not been to Funan for a long time. Today I come here to send my Poco C75 for servicing (speaker half dead after a few months).

Signal is pretty weak inside a toilet in Funan. But I still get either 5G NSA connection (band 3, -102 dBm) or 5G SA connection (band n28, 767 MHz, -107 dBm ) though, and no problem posting this post.

Today got the lowest speed I ever got in front of SingTel Shop Jurong Point.

5G SA connection, n78 band, pretty good signal at -90 dBm according to analiti app. Idle latency is also high.

The conclusion is that the speed can vary a lot even with 5G SA connection, using the same Poco X7 Pro phone and same S$15.28 per month SingTel SIM Only Plus plan.

One good result near to my HDB flat, n78 band with good signal strength of -80 dBm.
