If WiFi calling works overseas, does it mean no need to pay for mobile data roaming if only need to call back to Singapore?

For SMS & voice call with SG, yea no need to pay for roaming charges.
Data roaming would be another matter since usually that is consumed for something else.

I think then it is a limitation of my Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro.

Singtel does not have VoNR. I did a search and it says that. It says in the midst of full roll out. It cannot be device dependent because I see 5G VoNR on StarHub and M1

recharged my spare eight sim card to try try their 5G:

tested today at bukit merah interchange

against singtel sim only $15.28 plan at bukit merah interchange too
today singtel latency on the high side though...

Antina is stable

Actually iPhone depends on the carrier update is able to show 5G+ just not showing for Singapore telcos yet.

Yeah. This should be carrier dependent. I was connected to n78 which is 3500MHz band and still showing only 5G

There is a counter example from @amazingone, with Android 16 on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. He can get VoNR under Singtel.

I think VoNR could be device dependent, my S25 Ultra shows Vo5G (VoNR) after updating the firmware to Android 16 (One UI 8).

Yeah. I saw that post only after I replied. Hopefully iOS side gets the carrier update soon too.

Hope so, as now iOS carrier update version is 65.0 no VoNR and no 5G+ icon.

Yeah. But those are very niche for people that really need them. This plan is certainly not for daily usage as the difference is not going to be obvious.
