They are slowly phasing out 3G network. Most 3G networks you see are mostly for POS systems, are for enterprise users, which they are moving to 4G soon. You see those NETs and paywave machines, already slowly migrated to 4G. Not a lot 3G left.

I emphasise again, no more 3G!

Ya dunno now can find nets and paywave machine still got 3g not. Can’t remember now got simba not.

Get another line if you really want to have (almost) no downtime.

Singtel SIM Only may be down occasionally, and you may encounter no signals or no internet connection situations as well.

For example, you can try out M1 Maxx S$10 (5G) plan or Eight S$8 plan (4G) or SIMBA S$10 plan (5G), choose one of them as your backup.

Or live with the occasional no connection situation if you only want to keep one line.
