WhatsApp chat is where we've to bypass Silly Shirley.

Twice? I'd to repeat many times until I finally told her to just pass it on since she couldn't even understand anything. Well, I suspect there's someone watching our exchanges before finally taking over.
Sometime takes longer, but usually twice should work. :s13:

I am currently a singtel user and want to change to the $15 plan.. they don't allow me, ask me to port out then port back in?!

Have you clicked the link? No need to talk to them.

When is your contract expire? If you are with 24 months contract, then you may need to wait until contract expires or very close to expire.

Post #4 of the above thread talks about Singtel SIM Only Recontract offer.
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...ly-plans-in-singapore.7167328/#post-157724343

Latest Singtel SIM Only Recontract offers:
Not for new customers including port-ins.

You only need to fill in the form, no need to call in 1688 or WhatsApp Singtel.

You only need to select Option 1 which is the best offer now. The others are just for backup in case Singtel rejects your order (unlikely if you belong to Type A or Type B below).

A) For Singtel SIM Only Plan users with 12 months contract, usually you can recontract with the S$15.28 per month plan link at the 10th month or 11th month.

B) For Singtel Mobile plans with 24 months contract, you may have to try the recontract only towards the end of the contract, say two weeks before.

C) For Singtel SIM Only Plan users without contract, you can try the S$15.28 per month link after finishing one month or two months. YMMV even though there are some successful stories.

1. Best offer for non sensior citizen

FREE 6GB DataRoam Monthly to Malaysia for next 12 months (worth $192) --> Upgraded to 50GB as on 30-August-2025
1,000 mins
500 SMS
12 FREE months of Caller ID
12 FREE months of 5G+ Access

So.. we can safely say the overpriced priority sim only plans are only good if u need priority customer service and the additional talktime/data, the rest are just marketing gimmicks

OT - do u think its fair to compare singtel gomo vs m1 maxx plans? both are subsidiaries of their parent company. i noticed m1 maxx roaming data/coverage far outweigh those of gomo

The higher priced "5G+ Priority" plans may be only for people who want higher speed in crowd area (eg: concert). It may also help for people who want better experiences at underground MRT tunnels.

Yes, it is about fair to compare Gomo vs Giga vs Maxx. But Maxx may be a bit lower tier, between Giga and Eight. You can also say Maxx is higher than heya but a bit lower than Gomo.

BTW, if you watch Maxx thread, many people port out to Singtel MVNOs because of not-so-good experiences, or just keep the zero dollar Base plan...

just requested esim for my 2nd sim, 15.28 plan, they never charge me 10.90.

and also confirm no 10.90 charges for switching phone to phone.

(installed on 17 pro, then switch to find x9 pro, switch back to 17 pro again lol )

just use back the 1st email with the QR code.

i also downgraded my 55 bucks plan to 15.28 with 50gb MY roaming.

Not so sure if the users here are impacted or not.
As usual, singtel users will keep quiet if there is a disruption, to maintain image. When M1, SH or simba goes down, while internet attacking them. Later their glass heart will shatter if hear singtel network down
