Most likely Fast.com issue, DO NOT use it as it is not very good. Use OOKla SpeedTest.

You can see the first test is IPv6 and the second test is IPv4.

Singtel IPv6 can have different routing compared to IPv4. Why I know that? Because of M1 SpeedTest server supports IPv6 and Singtel speedtest using M1 SpeedTest server is always problematic. Singtel IPv6 routing to M1 IPv6 router is not good. No issues with IPv4.

Reference: post in IPv6 discussion thread.

I focus more on the ping than the download speed for 5G. Because ping/latency on 5G is supposed to be the bigger differentiating factor to 4G for consumer.

RCS is almost non-existent outside of the USA. I meant the usage.
everything is so unique to USA. They are they one using miles, pounds, Fahrenheit and RCS. They even look down on android users because of the green bubbles, but is actually they did not adopt RCS.

Ya, I know. They are the ones that mostly still use the default messaging apps. For ROW, I think mostly are on WhatsApp or Telegram

Do not use what 5G Auto settings be it on iOS or Android whichever equivalent settings. Singapore has full 5G coverage, do not let the device poll the 4G
IMHO.
No use one.... when no coverage, what setting also no use.

Good move from M1 for S$5 senior plan with 5G.

Bespoke SIM-only plan with Silver benefits.

1) Need to take note that the discount is only for 12 months.

2) Need to check if Caller ID is free or not.

Free 2 months Caller Number Display for new online sign-ups

the other catch is free unlimited weekend data is for 12 months only.
Just to share. :flash: :flash:
Just try try to recon and saw below this, so the 5G need $$ after S ex months (not sure)?
Okay, back to Singtel-Sim only. ✌️ 🤟

I have never seen such high 5G SA speed at any underground MRT Stations, 946Mbps down, 106Mbps up.

I am taking EWL from Boon Lay to Changi Airport.

Then it dropped to 5G NSA at City Hall MRT. Looks like 5G NSA network is still available at some underground areas.

Take note the above speed is off peak.

The speed can be much lower. For example the following tests done about three weeks ago (EWL, Changyi Airport to Boon Lay): pretty slow speed at Raffles Place.

Take note I commute daily with public bus services and I only take MRT occasionally.

Not sure if 7am to 7:10am on Friday morning is considered as peak hour or not.

No issues with EWL City Hall to Outram Park MRT (underground MRT stations) with my Poco X7 PRO phone, using SingTel S$15.28 plan

The Singtel line is pretty slow at Raffles Place MRT but still usable. It is pretty decent at the other stations (tested from Bugis to Tiong Bahru)
