I've actually been wondering, if there's no data connection in our trains, will people still rush for seats...
You will have people rushing for seat regardless. You will also see people giving you the stare when you sit on the non-priority seats. Lastly, you will have a group of people who feel entitled to having the seats. I have come across cases where people quarrel in the train over a seat. Usually the quarrel is more intense when it comes to the 'priority seat'.

btw I tried yesterday and during peak hour RP, i got 5G network! hooray!

Previously it was S$6 per month...

Gomo still has 5G senior plan at S$6 per month.

StarHub 5G Senior plan has the Passion Card offer at S$6 per month as well.

anymore reports of singtel rejecting $15.28 recontract?

No such reports recently.

Did they reject yours, or are you just hesitating to try?

Just go ahead to submit, nothing to lose if they reject. Unless previous contract already expiring/expired, can always try again in a week or 2.

Indeed this is the way to go.

I just get the S$15.28 recontract order accepted and the new contract will start tomorrow 3 July 2026.

Existing contract was supposed to expire on 13 August 2026. Usually I would click the recontract link only in late July or early August (one or two weeks before contract expire date).

This time I wanted to do it a bit earlier since I have decided to give up on Singtel Fibre (since Feb 2012) and switched to M1, because Singtel is very stubborn and did not want to give me the recontract offer I wanted. In case they rejected the S$15.28 recontract order, I would then ditch Singtel mobile as well. That did not happen though.

For alternatives, I kind of like the following and I would switch if my recontract order got rejected.
1) Starhub 5G Lite plan Passion Card offer at S$17.6 per month
2) Singtel hi! S$15/S$13 5G plan (port-in offer at S$13, new users at S$15).
3) Starhub Prepaid S$15 5G plan

Main line: two Singtel S$15.28 lines for me and my wife

Backup line: two StarHub Prepaid S S$3 per month Happy Prepaid Migration offer in Nov 2025, for me and my wife (legacy plan, no longer offered).

Shared roaming line (mainly used by my wife now as I seldom travel): eight S$8 4G plan (effective price at S$4 per month due to S$88 one for one top-up offer)

Shared roaming line (mainly used by my wife now as I seldom travel): Singtel hi! S$13 line, newly subscribed (2nd months now), may stop paying down the road.

Hi,

I am interested in trying the singtel $15.28 plan and want to understand more about the process.
I understand that I just have to apply via the eform without contacting Singtel CSO.

How long will it usually take to know the application results?

What will happen If my application is approved? Singtel just process and send me the contract without any confirmation? do I have to change my physical sim card?

Not for new sign-up. Not for Port-in. Only for recontract of existing Singtel mobile customers.

What is your current plan?

That is the problem. As per the previous reports, those on the Enhanced Lite will get the application for S$15.28 plan rejected.

But no harm trying. You need to wait until your contract expires and then click the link.

So to say that the chances of getting this 15.28 plan will be higher if the plan is not enhanced lite?

So after application, how long will it take to know the results?

Because I am also planning to help my parents get this plan from their current singtel postpaid plans. (theirs are not enhanced packages).

If my father has 2 numbers under his name (1 for him and 1 for my mother). can both lines get this $15.28 plan?

1) Those on no contract Enhanced Core plan (say one month ) seem to get the application accepted.

2) Three working days.

3) No problems. I have converted two Singtel Combo 2 lines to the Singtel SIM Only plans (about S$20 initially, now S$15.28).

go to the link below... bottom.... live chat....
use ur parent number to whatapps singtel.... they will straight away tell u whether u're eligible for $15.28 plan and also help u recontract or check other available plans for recontract.

as long meet the requirements.... 1 owner with 2 lines can recontract the same $15.28 plan

The general advice is as following.
DO NOT chat with Singtel about the S$15.28 plan.

Just click the link.

u dun understand..... it is frustrating to wait for reply/answer.
if urgent, i would rather whatapps singtel for straight answers....it's free and that's the benefit of being singtel user. lol
and u can just enquire without recontract-ing also.

Assuming that my parents are approved to get this $15.28 plan, must they change their physical sim card?

Because they changed their to the 5G physical sim card few months ago (when it was advertised for free change)

Because the eform didn't state the option which allows opting / not opting for new sim

You're the only person giving advice contrary to the entire thread. You got lucky with your experiences.

when recontracting, they won't change sim card.
if switch 4g to 5g, then need new sim card.

The new sim card isn't free, need to pay 1.

You don't understand. You can't even wait 3 days for a Yes or No?

We noticed when more people asked their CSO about 1528, more people started getting rejected as well.

Just submit and wait. The reply will definitely come in, whether accept or reject. Simple as that.
