At Changi Airport T1 Arrival Hall, looks like Singtel 5G NSA network has been shut down here as well.

Once I disable 5G SA on my Poco X7 Pro phone, it will fall back to 4G LTE.

Pretty good 5G SA speed here in the airport.

Last week i was at Marina Square. The network was quite spotty. There is a particular spot at a shop where i was having my dinner with my family where the network is 4G but i couldnt load FB, youtube, outlook etc. It helps with cutting down screentime haha.

Hmm. Were you near the BK/Food court side?

I had a similar experience last week on a weeknight - wasn't as crowded as weekend. Wife is on ST $15.28, I'm on Vivifi $15. No difference in experience for MNO or MVNO.

I was at Saizeriya, specifically at the drinks and handwash area. Both my wife and my iPhones had difficulties trying to connect to ST network even though there was 4G LTE. I am thinking of signing up a 48 hour priority pass to check the connection at those areas where i get 4G often. Doubt it makes any difference if the poor connection is due to the shut down of the 5G NSA.

I was at Jelita Mall around dinnertime. Had to resort to setting my 1528 plan in an iPhone to 5G SA (5G On) to load this forum.

5G Auto showed 4G for many places lately, even the airport terminals and Jewel, but could still load pages.

Hope there won't be too many disruptions if some places aren't covered by 5G or weak, otherwise it'd really be annoying.

5G SA speed Vs 4G LTE speed, when both the 5G and 4G signal strength are good. You can see 4G speed is pretty ok in this case.

BTW, in this particular location, StarHub/M1 5G network has low signal strength. StarHub 4G network has very good signal strength. So my StarHub prepaid S 5G plan will be connected to 4G network only.

I had doubts whether SingTel could shutdown 5G NSA network by 30 June 2026, but looks like they are really executing the shutdown process.

That being said, it could be that SingTel may still retain some 5G NSA deployment for indoor areas. Let's see.
30th June, for me, 5G NSA was fully shut down (tested West side to South side, and in vivocity indoors). Now indoors are also SA only.
Not sure about underground

Same findings here, for indoors and outdoors, only 5G SA now, no 5G NSA.

But for underground MRT stations, I still saw 5G NSA on 29 June 2026.

Then it dropped to 5G NSA at City Hall MRT. Looks like 5G NSA network is still available at some underground areas.

The phone used may play a part as well.

Are you using iPhone 13? It may have weaker signal reception compared to a decent Android phone like my Poco X7 Pro.

My earlier experience on Friday 5-June-2026.

Not sure if 7am to 7:10am on Friday morning is considered as peak hour or not.

No issues with EWL City Hall to Outram Park MRT (underground MRT stations) with my Poco X7 PRO phone, using SingTel S$15.28 plan

The Singtel line is pretty slow at Raffles Place MRT but still usable. It is pretty decent at the other stations (tested from Bugis to Tiong Bahru)

That is kind of normal, due to congestion.

But the good thing is that you can still get usable speed.

There are more complaints about EWL/NSL underground stations close to city central, for example, Raffles Place and Orchard. Many Singtel MVNO users complained about no data connections.

Yes, 13PM. My spare play play phone.

And strangely it became 5G after Raffles Place.

If can surf without interruption then I can still tolerate...

Yes, that is more important than speed, no matter 4G or 5G, just be hjappy with usable data connections.

There are many complaints about EWL/NSL underground stations close to city central, for example, Raffles Place and Orchard. Many Singtel MVNO users complained about no data connections at all.

Actually not only Singtel MVNOs, but also Starhub/M1 MVNOs.

Do not use what 5G Auto settings be it on iOS or Android whichever equivalent settings. Singapore has full 5G coverage, do not let the device poll the 4G
I've always toggled "5G - On", but Apple advised to use "4G/5G - Auto" instead to cut down on battery usage the last time I went down for battery drain issue though... :p

Same here, noticing more drops to 4G recently and doesn't load and needs "Airplane Mode". :s22:
