1) I got the S$88 one for one top-up offer for eight S$8 plan.

2) I tested different plans for China roaming back in Dec 2025. SIMBA and CUniq did not perform well compared to eight. giga China Travel eSIM was the best.

3) I seldom travel and eight has free roaming voice which could be useful occasionally (SIMBA is also good in this case).

4) SIMBA is the worst for local usage based on my testing of many different plans.

So eight is a good choice for me, for occasional roaming usage and backup usage for my wife. Your use case may be different and SIMBA could be a better choice.

My wife needed to travel to China pretty offer earlier this year, I added one SingTel hi! S$15 line just for this purpose since eight is not that good if you need more China roaming data.

We both use Singtel S$15.28 line as the main line. We also have two Starhub Prepaid S legacy plan line (S$3 per month special Happy Prepaid Card migration offer) as the backup line.
Eight can do voice roaming in China? call back Spore just +65xxxx? Thx

Just some simple tests in Southern Fujian.

My ranking.
1) giga Shopee China Travel eSIM
2) Gomo 5G plan (my brother's)
3) eight S$8 4G plan
4) SIMBA S$12 plan and Cuniq S$9.9 4G plan (Similar performance)

My wife told me Singtel hi! S$15 plan is not bad in China (Guangzhou and Xiamen/Fuzhou). She visited China 5 times this year.

No experiences with China bank account.

Called SingTel earlier this morning. Unable to postpone the port-in process. But they made a note that I will call in to get a eSIM replacement and waiver because changing phone.

I have two S$15.28 plan lines.

Recently renewed (contract will end on 2 July 2027): 370GB local data, 50GB Malaysia roaming data. I can see there is a 120GB local data add-on. I rememeber it was supposed to be 340GB local data. But no use to me as I never really use over 50GB.

Another line (used by my wife) with contract ending on 10 Oct 2026, somehow I see 550GB local data now, no change in 50GB Malaysia roaming data. I can see there is a free 300GB local data add-on. It is supposed to be 250GB. Not so sure when the 300GB is added. Anyway, no use for her either...

See what happen after contract end?
Refer to the below, few posts before u.
anyone’s $15.28 plan got extended automatically? mine got extended at the same price, with the same 50gb msia roaming and caller id included without me having to recontract with the links
If not, likely same like me back then, same price with reduced benefits (could be still foc if I don't unsubscribe myself) by then you still look out for better deals.
Since I won't be able to port out before the 15.28 contract expired so I went to unsubscribe those freebies that will be chargeable after the contract expired and note something from the revised agreement they sent me.
* Not sure if there will be further changes after my actual expiry on 10 Aug.

- 50% discount off the plan price till 2028 i.e. plan remained as 15.28 after expiry.
- caller id fee waived till 2028 as well.
- added free 120gb of local data with no specific duration.

Just try again later.

There are two links now, one with 250GB and the other with 340GB.

It is reported that you may get rejected for the 340GB link. In that case you should try the 250GB link.

If you got rejected with the 250GB link, just try again on the first week of October 2026.

Try the following recontract link.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplan-seniors

Re-contract to Seniors SIM Only plan at $6/mth.

Smart choices come with experience.

Available for targeted customers aged 60 and above only. T&Cs apply.

Seniors SIM Only Plan
340GB of 5G+ data
Unlimited talk time
6GB Malaysia Roaming monthly
Caller ID
100 SMS
12-month contract
$6.00/mth

This is probably only for targeted existing SIngTel Senior 5G plan customers.

Indeed this recently lauched recontract link is for targeted existing Singtel 5G Senior customers.

Link and information kindly shared by @SaGu .

If you are in the targeted list of recontract customers, your application will be approved and you will receive the service agreement shortly after.

If you are not in the targeted list of recontract customers and you use the link to submit your application, then your application will be auto-rejected by the system and you will receive a reject SMS informing you that you are not eligible for this promotion.

However, with the rejection, you can try your lucks to call Singtel hotline at 65381121 to appeal against their rejection. There are pretty good chance that Singtel may eventually approve the application after a few days.

my 15.28 expiring in 10 days and both links got rejected. Checked with support and they say to wait till expiry. So I guess will be auto-renewed...

The price will increase to crazy level. Free Malaysia roaming data will be gone. So you should either recontract or port out.

Usually I will click the recontract link two weeks or one month before the contract expire date.

More information here.
