I still have 10 more days till expiry. if they still reject my renewal then, i continue to pay 15.28 but lose the 250GB extra data and 50GB of dataroam. Will end up with 40GB of 5G and free caller ID

singtel support told me to wait until expiry then renew.
i tried to remove some free stuff beforehand and indeed the 15.28 can continue until mid 2028, but the free extra 5G and roaming will go away

so you remove malaysia data roam, caller ID, 5G+ access?

im also using sim only 30 plus ending contract on 4th oct, if you got rejected for the recontract of 15+, most probably i would get rejected too, i have not try apply both 15+ link yet as im waiting near towards the end date.

in my billing i saw these. sim only plus 30 (promo ends on 22 aug 2028), caller id and 5g access (promo ends on 22 aug 2028), did you ask them once your contract ends, would your plan increase price or remain 15+ after contract ends?

based on the billing, i think i would also end up with free caller ID and 40gb of 5G after contract expire. for my current usage now, no free roaming, free data in msia and 40gb of data is more than enough as i wish to remain on singtel network. most of the areas that i go often has good singtel signal

the dataroam addon and extra 250G data are just free addon so will just go away by itself. caller id is extended till Jul 2028. 5G+ still there but only 40 GB. you can change anything on your plan (e.g autoroam) and see the your new service agreement.

but actually when looking at the new service agreement toward the end I also have another 120GB that was added in july (that's why the plan become 370GB) and dont have an expiry, so that would give a total of 160GB of 5G. not too bad if you don't want to pay 5$ extra and never go to malaysia and it looks like they did something to my plan on 16 July this year but never notify me.

thanks, i will check with singtel agent, if this sim only 30plus price wont increase after contract ends, i would just stick with it until i need more local data and msia roaming data then can recontract. need to recontract every 12 mths actually also a bit troublesome. idk why are they rejecting some of the sim only 30 plus user with the same price now

Indeed. No idea why they suddenly changes the policy.

I have two S$15.28 plan lines.

Recently renewed (contract will end on 2 July 2027): 370GB local data, 50GB Malaysia roaming data. I can see there is a 120GB local data add-on. I remember it was supposed to be 340GB local data. But no use to me as I never really use over 50GB.

Another line (used by my wife) with contract ending on 10 Oct 2026, somehow I see 550GB local data now, no change in 50GB Malaysia roaming data. I can see there is a free 300GB local data add-on. It is supposed to be 250GB. Not so sure when the 300GB is added. Anyway, no use for her either...

My first S$15.28 line (from Sept 2013, Singtel Combo 2 initially) got no issues to get the S$15.28 recontract offer.

My second S$15.28 line (from Dec 2017, Singtel Combo 2 initially) got rejected yesterday.

I dare not to remove the 5G Access add-on and Free Caller ID add-on, so I removed the extra 300GB data added on 25 August 2026 (without information updates from SingTel), now the S$15.28 plan will be extended to 24 August 2028. Same for the free Caller ID and 5G Access.

But then the data will revert back to 40GB and no more 50G Malaysia roaming data after contract expiry date (10 Oct 2026).

In the end, I will still move out of SingTel SIM Only plan for this second line used by my wife as she needs China Roaming Data from time to time.

I was actually thinking to move the second line out but decided not to late and tried the recontract link. Now the rejection is probably just the final push to move this line out of SingTel Mobile.

Most likely I will move out my first line out as well after the contract expiry date now that it is unpredictable whether the S$15.28 recontract will be accepted or not.

I got a very special use case which only Singtel/WC can offer.

I bridged two SingTel ZTE F8648P ONR ports (one 10Gbe port and one gigabit port) and I could get two independent networks, with two public IPv4 addresses and two /56 IPv6 prefixes (but somehow I could use them as /64). Then I used two virtual instances of OpenWRT (running on a 10Gbe capable Intel N100 CPU based mini PC with dual 10Gbe ports and dual 2.5Gbe ports) plus wireless APs for the two networks. I could play with one network without disturbing the other network.

Now I lost this capability with M1 10Gbps plan.

BTW, Singtel/WC do not use CGNAT, only SIMBA/VQ/MR use CGNAT. VQ/MR offer Static IPv4 add-on for those who need public IPv4 address.

In any case, I recommend new users to go with either M1 or Starhub Fibre Internet, not SingTel.

The price will increase to crazy level. Free Malaysia roaming data will be gone. So you should either recontract or port out.

Usually I will click the recontract link two weeks or one month before the contract expire date.

They will be given additional free 210GB with 1000 local minutes talk time and 500 local SMS for 12 months. Looks like if you remove some add-ons the above three may get extended.

So S$15.28 plan will be extended to a further date. Same for the free Caller ID and 5G Access.

But then the data will revert back to 40GB and no more 50G Malaysia roaming data after contract expiry date.

BTW, quite some users seem to get a local data boost without contract recently (120 GB or 300GB). You may want to keep this add-on if possible if you have other non essential add-on to remove. In that case, you may get 160GB data or 340GB data.

I dare not to remove 5G Access and Caller ID add-on as my wife is using this line as the main line now. Unfortunately for me it is not possible to remove the 50GB Malaysia roaming add-on which we do not need. So I chose to remove the 300 GB add-on for this experiment.

In any case I will most likely port out unless the recontract gets accepted later.

the removal of add on is just to retrieve the latest service agreement. the change have been made earlier (without us knowing) regardless whether you remove or not. so if you see 370gb, likely it can be extended (not renewal)

my promo will expire on 22 aug 2028 as per billing stated (i suspect that might be the reason why some ppl are getting rejected when they apply for recontract but i didnt go ask the singtel agent). i will only lose the msia data roaming.

for local data, i would have 440gb? i didnt check properly when my agent says i will have 340gb after contract ends. cause in my billing i have "Add'l 100GB Local Data Bundle" and "Addl 300GB Local Data Bundle" plus 40gb. it's more than enough for me as my current plan is 550gb local data. so i will be sticking with the plan after contract ends, dont need to recontract. i dont need msia roaming, if i someday need, i can just use readyroam (this is auto roaming right)?

You need to check your account, if your account has recently added 120GB local data or even 300GB local data, then the S$15.28 discount, 5G access and caller ID have already been extended to a new date.

If not, the price will go very high after contract expiry date.

Monthly fee at S$15.28 goes up to S$30.56.
Caller ID will go to S$5.45.
5G access is at S$5.09.
Total will be S$41.10 per month.

Without 5G access it will be S$36.01 per month.

i chat with them via their whatsapp, i find mobile postpaid agent. you can also check whether your billing has any mention of (promo until bah bah date) on your sim plan name and add ons, if have then most probably wont increase. if dont have then would increase

Very good point.

The extra data may be added very recently without informing the user, and you may not be able to find the new service agreement. And it may not reflected in the latest bill either.

So it is probably better to check with Singtel (through WhatsApp, 1688, or Physical Store).

In my case, I could see the extra 300GB data from MySingtel app but I could not find any new service agreement. And I remember the app did not show when the extra data were added. It is not reflected on my August 2026 bill either (17 August 2026 t0 16 Sept 2026).

I only know later that 300GB add-on was added by Singtel on 25 August 2026, after removing this useful no-contract extra data add-on. That was certainly a mistake. But it triggered Singtel to send me the new service agreement which shows the extensions to a much later date (24 August 2028) of the following three items.
1) S$15.28 plan pricing (usual price at S$30.56 after 12 months contract end date)
2) Free Caller ID (usual price at S$5.45 after 12 months contract end date)
3) Free 5G access (usual price at S$5.09 after 12 months contract end date)

In my case, since I do not need Malaysia Roaming data, I could have stayed with the plan with 340GB local data until 24 August 2028. Now it is too late as I removed the 300GB extra data and it will only have 40GB local data after contract end date.

Base Mobile Plan:

My father contract is ending in late oct , its the $15.28 one from last year. Tried to recontract to the $15.28 240gb one also kena rejected. How ah ? just wait for better deals ?

my 15.28 expiring in 10 days and both links got rejected. Checked with support and they say to wait till expiry. So I guess will be auto-renewed...

Hi guys i'm currently on the sim only plus 30 plan ($15.28/mth) and my contract expires next month Oct 4.

I tried to recontract using both the 340GB Link and the 250GB link, but i got rejected for both (the sms says my mobile number is not eligible for the promotion).

I would appreciate if anyone can advise are there other promo links that i can sign up for TIA!
