Anyone managed to recontract the $15 plan with conversion to esim?

I just recontract from my 30sgd+mouse promo contract to the 15sgd contract.

A number of years back, singtel recontracts are usually ridden with useless payware add ons. Now this dishonest practice is gone! Good riddance, lol! Credit to the management for turning over a new leaf. Respect!

I did the same a week back. Do remember to set a calendar reminder after a year coz the promotional rate will be gone then. I might just port out if they don't have anything below $25/m by then.

Most likely this will not work. You may have to finish 12 month (or a bit earlier) in order to get the recontract offer.

The previous loophole was through free one month SingTel eSIM trial, but that seems no longer working.

You can always give it a try. There were reports that it no longer worked for them. YMMV.

I was originally on GOMO on Jun 2024. Upon seeing the 30SGD with free mouse offer on Singtel SIM-only plan then, I jumped ship. On 1st April this year, I was offered 15SGD plan and I hopped onto the current 15 bucks bandwagon.

nope. it worked very well.
have you tried changing to another roaming partner?
sometimes the roaming partner is having some issues or cell tower overload

So, StinkTel is telling me that I had been converted from Class 1 citizen to class 2 citizen?
l had been paying them for their services for more than 30 years, this is how they now want to treat their subscribers? My bills monthly around $450 in total.. Now really need to look at other camps now.

30 years means class 30 citizen. New customers then get assigned as class 1, just like in the real world.
