caller id $5+ free 12 month
5g access $5+ free 12 month
2gb malaysia dataroam $10+ free 12 month

🥺
not bad, at least getting sim only gets you the 5G+ and the priority it gets as compared to singtel mvnos.

If i were to get singtel sim only $15, i'll get simba senior plan for it's roaming. total $20.

you can always use sintel mvno, nobody force you to buy direct sintel.

sintel mvno start at $7.06 for 200gb per month (with caller id, free 5G if port in, free roaming, and no excess data charge)
is kind of complicated.
i always want to move out, been with singtel many years, got the affiliation with singtel. i not harry potter. :(

My original planning was singtel > m1 maxx > zym/heya. But didn't know m1 coverage so bad. lol
then i see 5g plans is around $15 in the market, so just pay a little more for another year.
During this year, i will test out heya/zym before porting over. i not looking at speed, just need the coverage at indoor/basement.

Anyway, u cannot transfer singtel line to singtel mvno directly.
Yes can transfer to zym but without port in bonus.

have been using zym for close to a year, it's the longest mvno I stayed aside to simba mno.

Quite happy with zym actually with it's 5G speeds, so much faster than the other 3 MNOs (starhub/m1/simba).

I have yet to try the real singtel, so I do not know what's the difference between them.

Singtel has introduced new 5G plans, that Singtel calls its “5G plus Priority” plans. These revamped plans are valid for both physical and eSIM subscribers and cover postpaid and SIM only plans.

This means that the subscriber gets access to Singtel’s new “Singtel 5G+” 5G network that uses network slicing to deliver a priority 5G service. Where Singtel’s usual 5G speeds are a download speed of up to 1Gbps and an upload speed of up to 100Mbps, Singtel says that its 5G+ Priority speeds are up to four times faster.

Singtel has unveiled an upgraded network where users can enjoy speeds of up to four times faster. The 5G+ network can automatically optimise users' connections. Singtel says this will improve connectivity, even in congested areas. Market watchers also add that the service is one few cities in the world can match.

5G+ but mrt tunnel some place still got hole and lag
Yah same here. But when it reaches the next station, network suddenly better until the train departs lol. That happened to me from the stretch from lavender to Raffles Place. So every time door open, network suddenly better.

Is anyone here able to achieve over 1.3gbps download speed on Singtel Sim Only plans? They are on the 5G SA network, right?

Singtel upgrades its users to faster, better connected 5G+ network for free

SINGAPORE – Singtel is upgrading its 1.5 million 5G customers to new plans at no extra cost amid an intensifying battle for mobile users.

The automatic upgrades, which began in early May, offer faster speeds, better connectivity and enhanced security.

Customers on Singtel’s SIM-only Plus, Ultra and L plans and its higher-priced 5G options now have four times faster speeds and guaranteed network access even during peak periods.

These plans cost about $10 more a month compared with basic options such as the SIM-only Lite plan at $24.50 a month for 150GB of 5G data, among other features.

Users of the premium-tier plans also get dedicated customer support and real-time cyber threat protection, including while roaming overseas.

Singtel executives said at a briefing on May 15 that these enhancements were made possible by the telco’s deployment of the 700MHz spectrum in February, which has boosted coverage by up to 40 per cent in high-rise buildings, indoor and underground spaces and remote areas.

The 700MHz band, a low-frequency spectrum that travels farther and penetrates buildings more effectively, now allows users to stream videos even inside lifts, though not always at the same quality as in open area

i went shop to recontract $15.28 plan, there is admin fees $10.90
i observe they will add-on for free 12 month, then after that charge on 13th month. Basically discourage people from porting out.

i have chat with the staff.... many complains singtel plan expensive. he said they port out and port back to singtel after sometimes. lol

frankly speaking, singtel got the best coverage..... just the price expensive. sigh. :(

Actually, some busy or older folks have trouble getting support from MVNOs when they experience connection or billing issues. As a result, they often prefer the traditional telcos with physical retail shops where they can get help in person.

The reason I ported my parents out was because, for some reason, they unknowingly signed up for a mobile game service through Singtel's third-party billing. I know there's an option to disable third-party billing, but at the time, it just didn’t occur to me to turn it off.

Lastly, some customers prefer to pay for their handsets in 24-month installments rather than paying the full amount upfront. So, after a while, when they need to replace an expensive device, they end up porting back to the traditional telcos.

agreed. at singtel shop, a lot of old uncle/auntie.

yeah i disabled this third party feature. i going to move my parent out to mvno so they can use it when overseas without worrying overcharging.

actually u buy online with voucher is cheaper than buying from telco... can also use installment plan. then nowadays a decent phone cost $300+

i find singtel coverage is the best.....
no issue using for indoor/tuas/changi.

Tbh, the times when I do visit the MNO stores, the service that I see received by the elderlies is atrocious.
So to me, no difference in service provided by MVNOs.

At least on MVNOs, can save the money. I will just be the CSO for my family instead. :s13:

So true.

I've not used Starhub for a long time, so no comments.

The other 3, stupidest of questions asked by orange though other times i never had to repeat myself before they understood and got things done pronto. The other 2 have script readers with poor knowledge, total disaster if you get the wrong person.

Eight, I just have to take public transport as and when I need help, Ubi one get stuff done efficiently and quickly. I've not got a chance to visit the other 2, but glad that the 3rd one was added.
