I currently subscribed to Auto-Subscribe ReadyRoam and Pay-As-U-Roam. I have turned OFF the Data Roaming from the app and phone setting. When i step foot in Malaysia, will it charge me anthing? or are they evil enough to charge me for roaming (not data roaming). If i unsubscribe Auto-Subscribe ReadyRoam and Pay-As-U-Roam, will i still able to get roaming in malaysia, cause sometimes i need to receive sms otp.

What phone are you using? Other than tuning off data roaming, it's best still to turn off Mobile Data option.

Pay-As-U-Roam is when you needed mobile data (4G/5G internet network) when overseas, they will charge per usage basis.

As for SMS, you do not require mobile data to be turned on. You can received SMS otp as long as you are connected to their network. Yes, even without mobile data turned on.

Just ensure, on your phone, turn off mobile data and data roaming to be extra safe.

It's $XXX * noOfMonths, so about 2x your sub to terminate.

Is it worth the penalty?

Just opt to go with the free six months Disney+ and Amazon Prime for the SingTel SIM only plan.

If you are interested, please check your SMS from SingTel.

Somehow Amazon Prime add-on is kind of automatic handled with web links. For Disney+, SingTel staff over WhatsApp channel needs to add that manually for me.

So... has anyone Singtel eSIM trial plan past the 3rd week yet? Have they contacted you on the next course of action?

When I sign up the plan, I ask the representative whether can sign up for SOP plan, she said can. maybe you call in and see, or wait 7days before 1 months.
