Anyone here using Singtel 5G during daily commute to & from work on NEL? It so weird. From Sengkang to Little India & change to DTL is ok, have connection.

But heading home from DTL side is ok but once change to NEL at Little India, on journey back to Sengkang is GG. Slow till sometimes no connection.

i still yet to receive this. how long from the plan activation to receive this SMS?

approximately 4 - 5 working days...

new contract starts on 12th, received that sms this past tues (18th)

Btw are u guys using 5G SA or NSA? Im on SA but auto not forced 5G.

It’s alr VoNR. If you can check SIM card status, it’s on NR SA for mobile voice network type

Does that mean VoNR? SIM Status for mobile voice network and mobile data network both show 5G SA.

On the status bar, it is still showing VoLTE.

BTW, IPv6 is working when on SingTel 5G SA.

Also really see better signal now in Clememti MRT station, 5G SA, full bar. Used to have weak signal on 4G.

That means the signal is good but two many users are connecting to the same base station (network congestion problem). Looks like Singtel needs to have more 5G base stations (or the capacity of the 5G base stations) along the NEL line.

on my NP2, it can set network to 5G, enable/disable SA support, and a choice of enaabling 4G (VoLTE) or 5G calling or both.
before porting out of Singtel, i could use 5G SA, and 4G/VoLTE calling.
no noticible difference in quality and call setup times on 4G or 5G calling.

Ya exact same problem. wth. The thing is some ppl say other providers are the same. If true that means is 5G problem so changing providers is pointless.

I tried Eight,M1 maxx, Zero 1,spotty issues only around Serangoon station. Otherwise rest of the journey are usable.

Everything accept Singtel which is what Omelet & I are facing issues with and Starhub which I am wondering if its a better option.

Is the Free 3x UnlimitedRoam Neighbours promo code sent through SMS or email? My service contract came on 29 Jan but i can't find the redemption code anywhere in SMS or email. Definitely more than 14 working days already right?

both me and my partner signed up for sim only together back in may 2024, i already received the recontract promo sms from singtel and successfully got it but my partner didn't. tried to sign up for her using the same link but got rejected. anyone faced something similar before?
