All the Singtel hi! postpaid plans have Free Caller ID.

You should be able to change to Hi! Senior plan, but take note it is only 4G.

I will recommend to go to eight 4G senior plan for one month and then hop back to Singtel S$6 Senior 5G plan (12 month contract --> now no contract) or Gomo S$6 5G Senior plan (no contract).

No one experienced the above? :(
ST only said reset AP, restart phone, turn on airplane mode, set to 4g and then 5g all that.

But still the same, getting irritating especially when making payments. Sigh...
i feel the same, starting about 2 months or so ago. even 8 @ $8 is faster on the mrt than singtel $15 plan. I'm using Singtel on my mobile and eight on my ipad, use at the same time (aka when singtel not working, i use ipad works)

It's the iPad that works wonders.

I've $5 data only plan in my iPads. Have never got cut off from it while all my phones and lines from 12PM to 17PM, from ST to M1 to 8 to Simba mobile lines to Starhub got interruptions.

Praise the iPads.

I chose to wait for the month to be over since I already have an existing Singtel account with other lines. I just let them do the necessary adjustments thereafter.

if i were to choose again, i will not sign up for 15.28 plan.
i would go for eight instead. that might just me. but at half of the price and more useable (aka stable although peak speed slower), eight is much better choice. unfortunately, i just "re-contract" it in feb, still long way to go until i can switch.

Some people prefer MNOs over MVNOs,yeap contract plan are a pain nowadays especially without devices tied together

That probably is related to your location and use cases.

For my use cases, I have tested many sub S$15 plans and Singtel S$15.28 is the best for me (live and work in the west, daily commute using public Bus, no peak time MRT ride).

For local usage, overall:
Singtel S$15.28 plan
> Zym 5G
> Starhub Prepaid S 5G , Maxx 5G and CL 5G
> Singtel hi! 4G
>> eight 4G (Still keeping for roaming) or CUniq 4G (barely usable but not good due to congestions)
> SIMBA (just not usable for local usage)

Now we have 6 main lines.
1) Singtel S$15.28 per month x 2 -- main line for me and my wife
2) Starhub Prepaid S 5G S$10 x 1 -- main line for my daughter
3) Starhub Prepaid S 5G S$3 x 2 (speical Happy Prepaid Migration offer) -- backup line for me and my wife
4) eight 4G SS$8 line x 1 (effective price at S$4 per month due to S$88 one for one top-up offer) -- roaming line shared by me and my wife.

Good thing about Starhub Prepaid S 5G -- better than my SingTel mainline at my work place.

Yup, for my case, its parts of north east line and parts of circle line. for public bus, no issue with singtel or eight.
actually now i tempted to move my $0 circle life plan to 8 to use together with my mobile lol.

no love for m1?

agreed, fellow NEL user here. singtel and eight/starhub seems to have the better network. was on gomo 5g now trying eight 5g.

Same for me. After my current Singtel CIS sim only contract is over, i am jumping back to M1. These few months of testing tell me M1 currently is as good as Singtel in term of 5G connection for me. I dun need any aeroplane mode on both telcos. But, M1 with higher data value, no contract and cheaper are still reasons for me to go back to them.

Indeed M1 5G coverage is pretty decent based on my testing of Maxx 5G and CL 5G. Same for StarHub 5G network. After all they share the same 5G network infrastructure (at least the Radio Access Network).

Main issue with M1 is the 4G coverage issue when 5G is not available. Singtel and StarHub 4G network coverage are much better. But there is a problem with StarHub 4G network due to heavy congestion.

My backup of SingTel S$15.28 plan is StarHub Prepaid S 5G (S$3 per month Happy Prepaid card special migration offer) and it really helps at some locations, including my work place where Singtel is not very good at some corners.

Basically to me using Single line is not an idea situation now, better to have Singtel + M1 network or Singtel + StarHub network dual line. No need to use MNOs either, you can two MVNOs, like Zym+Maxx or CMlink+eight.
