i feel day 3-4-5... u can take a driver.. can cut down ur rushing to 2 days..

yep days 3-5 we will be getting a driver...we split days 4 and 5 into 2 days cos the driver that i asked said all these places (in days 3-5) will take at least 3 days, and also because we dun want to rush.

*already booked cityinn through agoda.com and ran into some hiccups...din know that their direct rooms are only available on 1st jan?!

we went to the website and it said that the hotel is full on the dates we wanted lol...

so for future reference, this means that if we want to book for next year, the booking will only be open on 1st jan, or only 3 months before the date u want?

Cos 1 or 2 of their Cityinn(Think is I and Plus) got a issue with the booking part..That's why show room all fully booked even thou haven open for reservation..

3 month advance booking..

Say March then booking opens on 1st Dec the year before..Feb then Nov, Jan is Oct..

Fyi, we do not book cityinn with agoda. If can, please try book direct. Agoda is chop carrot one.

I would be travelling to Taipei from 31/1/14 - 5/2/14. Huat ar! chinese new year period...

so far no itinerary planned...

Need planning? I doubt so, since you have tried looking around the forum. So settled you lodging then we will provide you more info. But that thur till monday, taipei will be a wee quiet. But i am sure you will be happy with all the night markets and lots of fireworks and fire crackers crackling along the streets.

i would say we have to reach fisherman's wharf by 4pm, since their sun sets earlier than ours?

Or go to this branch 誠品敦南店 instead. It opens 24hrs. There's a metro stn nearby, also got Sogo and Kinokuniya nearby.

You can see Hello kitty and its related stuffs anywhere irregardless at the station or inside the cable car.

In additional, you can also bring back the Hello kitty. Easycard Company had since came out with 3 different designs of Hello kitty easycard. however the card can only be purchased at Maokong station. (while stocks lasted)
