Alishan is a big place.
Can you list what you want to cover?
Most of the attractions are by foot though.
So if three full days, you may be able to do that.

Since you hire driver, it's very easy. Just go to tripadvisor key in the place, attraction list will come out, then from there see what you like to see then add to your list. This 3 places attractions very basic one.

PS cingjing farm show only on sat and sun. Other day no show will be abit boring but still ok since the scenery very beautiful.

Sunrise itself, go to cingjing and hehuanshan.
Good enough.
I will drop alishan.

I agree with calkel. Alishan sunrise may be too foggy so not a good place for sunrise. Sunset I heard good but you need to arrage yr driver to pick you up as no public transport after sunset.
Cinjing sunrise and sunset is good, clear sky. evening lot of stars.

Zeh zeh, if you are short in time, why don't you watch the sunrise at Yangmingshan. There you can also go to Xiao You Keng, Qing Tian Gang, Leng Shui Keng and even Zhu Zi Hu if you are into flowers.

If you are staying in Taipei, going to Yangmingshan is more convenient.

EVA always depart 7am+, very tired one need to wake up at 3am+

Haha yeah. Indeed. If flight 7am. Need to wake up wee hours. I rather not. Tired. Later reach the destination will tired to enjoy. I took 10am flight. Just nice ~~
