and to add on for mine,

I already have a rhodium-plated oyaide plug at home that i was planning to use but not used yet, so is it ok if i send it to you and you'll remove the charges for jack accordingly? Interested in SPC if you do offer that option.

what the diff btw rhodium-plated and gold-plated?

FWIR, plated-rhodium is much harder and even more resistant to corrosion. Sonic-wise, there should be little difference but more to do with the finishing of the contact.

@iAHBEE: how much and where did you get your Oyaide SR plug? I wish to get one too.

so, overall, what materials is good for wider soundstage and tamed mids?

My Christmas Presie!

Just received this baby from DHL at 11:30am.

Wish to share my joy with brothers and sisters here!

@weibchen: you have suggested copper setup but I wish to know what effect will silver-plated copper has on TF10? Also, will solid-core OCC be stiff? I wish to use the Oyaide P3.5SR straight plug.

erm, I can't tell you the "effects".
you have to listen out for yourself - if someone has an amp and a interconnect, borrow it and listen it thru your stock IEM.

It'll be slightly stiffer compared to the stock TF10p because the stock one is only a few nostril hair strands - maybe 2-3 strands?

No la just asking about the cost of crystal cable only. Heard its about 1k +?

Ah okay. I think i would prefer silver cables then. :)

No problem let randius know.

I don't do SPC unfortunately, why not you choose the hybrid option?
Silver/copper?

It is okay to send me the plug and i'll remove the charges but it's $5 as zijian said.

Define tame?

Silver is not boomy fast not intimate more dynamic but very forward sounding and harsh to some.
copper is boomy slow intimate and less dynamic but it laid back and too slow/boomy for some

Silver - good for details and speed - instrumentals etc.
Copper - good for vocals and simple instrumentals e.g one woman one guitar kinda feel.

Thank you, hope you receive yours soon.

It looks brand new. Cables are different compared to the previous version. This cable is glossy and has an L-shaped plug!

Since its L-shaped the build quality should be better? My old sf4vi was straight jack and the jack spoilt after 6-12 months -.-
