weibchen: Need some help over here for choice of cable...

I would prefer something lush yet detailed... The cable can raise the mid, if possible tame the high that bit... Soundstage decent will do...

I think i am toward sliver and more balanced sounding leaning toward slightly forward sounding... The vocal presentation is important and take the front seat but the instruments must be heard also too...

but i tried some sliver cable(not lune), I like its brightness i think it is very light and dry... I like its brightness but i wish there body at the lower end... I dunno how good is the cable i tried...

The genre of song i listen to is jazz, acoustics, chinese pop, some rock and progressive electronic...

I dunno am i asking too much but this is what hope to achieve in the cable... I think it is possible but maybe to some, they might ask me to change to better earphone:s13: haha

btw, can let me know the pricing of the cable?:D

I believe what you want is a copper silver hybrid.

Please contact Randius for the bulk pricing.

Copper is slow boomy yet intimate, great for vocals.
Silver is fast, harsh but very detailed, good for instrumentals.

hybrid you'll have best of both worth if you setup is not too bright and not too warmth.. so it'll give you a balance output in the sound .

weibchen had earlier stated the traits of pure copper and silver cables and that silver/copper hybrid has a mix of both.

Lune is pure silver cable.

Yes you are :s13:

Seriously, why do people believe a cable is going to totally transform the sound? It might change the sound, but for better or worse, that's difficult to say with any reasonable amount of certainty.

What's certain is that you're gonna have to blow more money - will that be worth it? I don't know, that's something you have to decide for yourself and i'm not trying to tell anyone how to spend their money.

To people who haven't even heard the tf10 and are already planning to get custom cables, i honestly suggest listening to how the stock cable sounds first before pulling the trigger. IMHO, take what you read with a huge dose of salt, especially when it's from people with a vested interest in cables.

Which is why the MO is temporarily suspended until everyone has gotten hold of and listened to their TF10.
