one more episode. so who is the iron mask ? how about wally e-2?? :s13:

I'm guessing it's his father too. Jay Garrick was introduced in the silver age as an older speedster with more experience. Zoom's character too young and handsome already.

Barry's father may be the original Garrick and flash, who always hid his flash identity by vibrating his face. He may have then been replaced by this guy, who just took over his uniform and helmet and replaced him. Since no one identified the original flash, no one knows to date that the flash was replaced.

Like Barry's father said, Garrick is his mother's name. His doppelganger may have taken the mothers surname for some reason.

I also think it's Wally e-2 from the first day they show him....mainly because of his darker skin tone. He is probably the only other Flash in e-2 apart from Jay Garrick, so when Barry finally sees him unmasked he will know what is destined for Wally e-1.

if it's wally e-2, why did he spell the name jay in morse code when barry was trapped in earth 2 next to him? :s11:

Darker skin tone might be just because he is dirty. You see Survivor contestants and The 100 cast mostly have darker skin tones cos they are covered with dirt and grime all the time.

Being a kept prisoner for quite some time, one cannot stay clean all the way, right?

Some more the black casts too few. The producers wouldn't want such an obvious clue since they promised the reveal to be mind-blowing?

What it more, the guy might just be a calefare, cos if you ask me, he looks too slim to be Henry and his hands looks too old to be Wally.

And if you ask me, being a "Garrick" on Henry's maternal side and the fact that Jay is supposed to be and older Flash, if the morse code-alike thingee is an indication to tell Barry his own name, then yeah... My bets are on John Wesley Shipp.

A logical choice to lock a Jay Garrick away if you want to pretend as him.

And if plot twist is that Jay is black, I am going to go ballistic as they already made Iris and Wally black!!

And Nick Fury. And the Kingpin. And the Human Torch. And Nick Fury

Seperated uncle is more like it. Cos there is a Barry ALLEN there. Unless his father is not Henry Allen, but another Allen, which, is impossible cos if that is the case Barry Allen wouldn't have existed (Don't tell me if someone else married your mom instead of your father, you'd still be you)

Unless the his mom's family name is Allen in that world and he adopted his mother's family name and Jay Garrick is his estranged father.

Well there are many ways to reuse the actor. Earth 2 Garrick could be a twin of Henry Allen there, and each parent there got one of each twin when they divorced. Just one example they can make it work, estranged uncle sounds good.

Finally the results are out

This leaves time for a couple more twists, the first of which couldn’t have come as much of a surprise to many of us. The man in the iron mask is indeed the real Jay Garrick, a speedster Zoom plucked from another universe, and he is Henry Allen’s doppelgänger. The second twist is much less expected and much more ill-advised: Barry time-travels back to the moment of his mother’s murder again, but this time he saves her. The previous Barry watches this happen and vanishes from existence. The timeline has been rewritten, but to what extent we can’t know yet. For now, it sure looks like this finale cheapens last year’s finale, along with all the lessons Barry learned (or thought he learned, anyway) since then.
