pardon me, do you know the exchange rate once you withdraw MYR from ATM in Msia? the rate will definitely better than money changer?
If you are referring to using Singapore ATM card on Malaysia ATM machine, then at the moment, the exchange rate from ATM withdrawal is better than the money changer
provided
(i) you withdraw money from the same bank (eg, use CIMB ATM card on CIMB ATM machine). If you withdraw money not from the same bank (eg, use CIMB ATM card on Maybank ATM machine), then there is a service charge
(ii) there is no surcharge for overseas withdrawal of the same machine (you need to check the terms and conditions of the bank.) CIMB do not have such surcharge. Someone mentioned that Maybank and UOB have no surcharge as well.
