anyone have this problem - cannot load earlier msgs in whatsapp chats and occassionally missing msgs in grp chat?

seriously! finally found someone with the same problem. none of my friends have this prob whether android or ios.
im using iphone4 with latest ios. YES! cant load earlier msg, in fact, it will display a repeat of the latest chat that ive already read when im actually trying to view the earlier ones.
sometimes after i close the app (by pressing home button or even when force quitting the app) and reopen, my recent msgs are all gone, as if didnt take place at all. applies to indiv or grp chats.
tried to delete and reinstall app, twice. same problem occurs. and when u do that, you'll still have the same chat grps but with no history. and all indiv chats will be lost.

- repeats of chats when trying to load earlier msgs
- close app, reopen - thrown back in time, msgs disappear

reinstall also no help?

This is related to a bug in the current version of WhatsApp that can be caused by removing chats. Please know we are already looking into it, and the next version of WhatsApp should fix it. Unfortunately we cannot comment on any future timelines, sorry. Thank you for your continued patience and support of WhatsApp.

You can try deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp to reset the chat history database. This will delete all of your chats. Please keep in mind that deleting chats may cause you to experience the same bug again.

I've been getting network disconnects. It resolves after I force quit app or reboot my phone.
Am thinking of reinstalling it.

no leh, working fine. on iOS 5.1.1 no jailbreak.
