Means when i open the what'sapp then it taps on whatever internet connection i have.. when i go home screen, it will not use any of the internet connection or data plan. Am i right to say that? So basically pressing the home buttion is like closing it. Until a new notification comes along.
Yes. That's how the Push Notifications System works. No apps run in the background, except for a select few (and all of them are Apple stock apps, like Messaging, Phone System, iPod, Push Notifications). The iPhone will receive the notification from Apple's PN server. It's quite elegant, the entire system.
You might want to actually understand the system to appreciate how it works and why properly designed apps will never have to run in the background and eat up precious CPU cycles, RAM and battery life for nothing.
hi all, another silly question... if i send a msg wif watsapp to a frd in another country i wont be charge extra rite? say i send message to a frd who has a malaysia no.
thanks
WhatsApp sends over the internet. If you have a data plan or are tying yourself down to Wifi networks, you're not charged anything.
