Yeah, I remember you mentioned that yesterday, so told myself everything would be fine.... And now, IT iS OK. =X

Wah like that cannot wash it often else will miss important notifications.

I remember brother Scubyti mention that if you put your phone into the basin of water for a short while, when you take out, the speaker volume becomes softer than before and it is normal as he has tested many times on his Xperia Z.

After about 10 mins, the volume level will return back to the normal loudness so no need to panic if the volume become softer after taking out from water.

Realize the charging time is rather slow... Much slower than tx.... Will it charge faster once the batt gets seasoned?

If I not wrong, the charger for your Xperia TX is the same as the Xperia Z at the output of 1.5A but you must remember that the battery capacity for your Xperia Z is bigger at 2330mah compared to your Xperia TX at 1750mah.

Did u use the charger provided by Sony? It is 1.5Amp as compare to normal 1Amp charger.
Older chargers were .5 - .55 (550 mah) actually, in line with basic USB spec.

new ipad charger is 2A. if u have one, use it.

Can anyone confirm if the xperia z allows apps2SD? It would be good to have so that we can conserve internal memory.

no, apps are installed on internal memory as default.
App2SD do not work.

u can only store media files etc on the SD card.

Can anyone of you use Social Life app? Play store says it's not compatible with my device :vijayadmin:

Isn't it installed on the phone by default? When I had my preview set, it came installed with Socialife which worked fine.

for those who have concerns about the screen display,

i think it makes the difference if u come from the Samsung camp. Because samsung displays are very very saturated (at least to me). so u are probably used to the oversaturated displays, and find the screen display of sony not so "vivid" so to speak.

Sony emphaizes on natural display instead of saturating the colours, hence what u see is what u get. hence seasoned sony users may not like samsung display the same way.

just my 2 cents worth i guess

I'm pretty dissapt with the z display... The top n bottom black border looks too bright, the backlight is too strong... Whereas the tx is true black... Both phones set to equal brightness...

Ever wonder the poor viewing angle is to prevent ppl beside u from looking at ur phone? The Japanese are quite particular. Maybe this is part of privacy set by the Sony.

My 2cents.

I'm guessing the borders on Z are actually grey, while the TX are black.

To confirm, U can take screenshots on both phones, copy to PC and compare side by side.
