if you lucky enough, nothing happen on the phone, you won't have to worry about it. Why not get the z ultra. it is much better.

Lolz lucky enough to get a problem free phone? lucky enough i will win big sweep n buy every brand of phone to compare. what lemon set? what lucky? Really so lucky i got all diff models wif problems.

z ultra? dare not try my luck, nothing much special. honami maybe, concept n features fm designer is good i agreed but again material/software quality issue my concern!

anti-shatter film..i apply on my windows..sony worry abt injuries claim? now i wonder is the glass really scratch proof?

If everything i buy n still new,need to sent for service.i think better go stay in mountain sia.

I wonder how some of you guys get one to one exchange sia. Mine they keep bsing. Send in 6-Aug. Now 19-Aug liao sia.

i feel for u too bro. i sent in mine due to cannot power up. They also promised me 3 to 5 working days i will get it back.
It took them 3 weeks (with the 3rd week of daily calls from me)

1st week say waiting for parts
2nd week say still waiting for parts
3rd week when i called, then they tell me its ready.
so i asked them if i don't call, i won't know its fixed?
they ask me to check website status but its still states "NOT READY"!!

in the end i went to bishan to collect.
On the spot the guy told me my set was beyond repair(for whatever reason they cannot tell me) and "out of good will" they did an 1 to 1 exchange for me.

i asked if they were going to do that, why not inform me and get it done earlier? the reply was... they were waiting for parts...

so, is it lack of parts? or beyond repair? i really have no idea.
i'm just glad i got my Z back. and having read most stuffs here, i wouldn't be that adventurous with my phone again. ( i used it to record videos of my kid in the pool for fond memories. now i don't dare to do it anymore.)

i sent in mine after 6 days of purchase due to the side between the power and volume rocker popping up resulting in a quite obvious gap. at first the cso told me might not be covered under warranty as its cosmetic defect. but i argued that the phone is water proof and with this defect water might seep in. they took my phone in for about a week until i post on their fb on a sunday and the phone was replaced on monday.

i'm not sure why they need so long for an approval for exchange as no servicing was required and was surpised they do not have 1-1 exchange if defect is found within 7 days of purchase.

but i do tend to think posting on their fb helps in someway.

Seems like they only action when ppl complain on their facebook, remember to screenshot after you post. Just in case your post magically disappears.
They want to have a facebook page, better make sure it doesnt come back to bite them, especially with such aftersales service.

Nope. they handed me a handset in a plastic bag itself. No box no doc nothing. Not sure if the phone is a refurb or really new.

most likely is refurb set. 1 - 1 exchange, not a brand new set. Still waiting for my phone to return.

Dude didnt u read? they already said they will VOID whatever period of warranty i have left after the second replacement.

TELL them you will invoke the Lemon Law. They are supposed to repair or replace the product to a satisfactory level. In your case, brand new without fault.
