I recently recontracted on M1, and got the LTE plan. The counter staff told me that it will take 5-7 working days before LTE is activated. Today is the 8th day but I still don't see the LTE icon even after I go to Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Network Mode and switch to the 4G (preferred)/3G/2G option.

Before I call M1, I just want to confirm with those on M1 LTE, do you see the LTE icon on the notification bar? Or it's just a H+ icon?

Have downloaded Internet settings and still the same. You are on M1 LTE and have the LTE icon?

m1 LTE should display LTE icon. i m on M1 LTE, no issue so far

i activated 4g for my father in law, they told me by midnight. less than one hour later , activated.
this was two days ago.

Maybe it's also because I converted from corporate plan to non-corporate plan when I re-contracted.

Update: Ok, I just rebooted my phone and now I have a 4G icon. Should it be a 4G or LTE icon?

tempted as well but not going to bite until there is a improvement of the camera. otherwise, still in love with my Z (and it's still the slimmest).

hopefully when the improved firmware comes along in a couple of months (?), the price will also begin to drop...

for thos who are not realy bothered about camera , 13mp on xz is also good with the ported Z1 camera on XDA , also the price now in stores is 580 so best time to buy a new one tooo

It's suppose to be better and has more features. Just do a nandroid of your stock ROM, then flash the CM ROM. If you don't like it, just restore the nandroid.

Hi guys. Is it normal for this phone to stop charging when it get heated up like above 40°c?
I was running the SMS backup application, and I noticed my phone stopped charging...

Jimmy and Adix have.... Lots on ebay too. I'm using a bumper, and my friend is using a clear plastic shell. My bumper blocks the dock, but the clear plastic shell is fine.
