IIRC your case was quite jia lat... the fact they repaired it for free (right?) is good enough I guess

ya haha, quite jialat. but idk what they did to the phone. :/ thats the worst part, and im not sure how can they prove to me that they have done extensive checks to ensure that the problem dont resurface again.

If i remember correctly, when i asked, the CSO only said their tech will do checks but how sure is that i have no idea

Now its me in the same boat .. today i took my phone to the pool just one dip screen turned off .. and tthe part near headphones became pink although all ports were tightly closed.. now i need to go n convince the j8 ppl that screen replaced but they didnt test the waterproof. Looks like after the service tbey didnt stick the back glass well as camera also got water ..

Yes i think they did not fit the back glass properly and then test the waterproof .. my phone turns on but display no back ligjt all display super dull with no brightness .. i will need to go to the service centre on tuesday as i am overseas at the moment

I have a colleague who just change over to Xperia Z from her Samsung S2, she was commenting that when she watch her favourite concert, the character seems to be in 3D popping out of the screen.

She loves the Xperia Z so much compared to her previous S2 and I told her the many usage of the SmartConnect, she was so happy as she can configure it to turn off the music while listening to sleep!

they returned you a faulty one from the start?

Yes it has a lo g list except mobo everything was changed.. i had sent initially for a deadpixel repair

I will uploadin a day or 2 as i am overseas currently. Body would have changed probably due to the flaps turning pink. If ur imei is same means its old motberboard.. but what i heard is they change to a refurbished phone kind of still ok.. hope they do mine for free under warranty as its their fault .. convincing

so you got your phone congrats hehehe ..did u finally have to pay anything ? was it still ccovered under the warranty ? as this was a manufacturing defect or service tech fault ..

haha yeah i got my phone yesterday!

yup covered, didnt have to pay anything. they said they repaired it
