Hi all xperia z user, is it worth to upgrade to z1 now?

My xperia z kena hit to a wall by the corner of the phone while inside a tpu case.

now 3/4 of the screen doesnt work, cant touch, cant sense.

only bottom part ( navigation area to dock icon area can touch )

how ah ? warranty no support right ?

i also not sure if its the screen crack or the lcd panel inside crack le.

advice please

to fishyy, your phone can still spoil even with casing... what did u do man.. haha

confirmed its just the glass screen crack, not the lcd panel. because there's no colour defects or whatsoever. Correct me if im wrong.

i tried calling a few shops, cheapest is 250 to replace the screen. wa kao eh. exp leh T_T
any place for a cheaper one if u know ?

with that price maybe you should consider buying a new phone? also you can go service centre and see the price they quote.

anyway I'm super happy with my XZ.. rooted and running on eXistenZ ROM with Android 4.2.2.. the developer is working on the 4.3 version. also modded the nav bar to a 5 button layout, with Nova Launcher option of holding the Menu key = expanding notifications and the power button on nav bar turning screen off AND Gravity Screen, handling a 5" phone is easy peasy

yup.been using for 6 months tops..longest launcher i used.

have cool 3D effects..
and use gesture mode.

swipe finger up to say..open drawers...or hide dock..or hide status bar...can fully zhng the way u use ur phone.

3D.. saw it on play store, not reallykeen on the look Nova still best for me cos it's clean haha

actually buzz launcher also not bad, got a lot of user uploaded themes. a lot of customized icons, just download easily. and best of all its free.
