That is weird.

Thing is, a brand new set of Xperia Z from Singtel.
Bought today and plugged to PC companion where it immediately prompts the update to 4.3.

try to re-install the *** or SEUS
then plug in ur fone with ***/SEUS running

that is because the remnants of the settings/caches of *** is still inside your registry.

You gonna uninstall *** and remove the background files by making your explorer showing hidden files.

I'm not sure where are the files stored on a pc as i'm using mac. I believe the firmware is released on the server, but some of the users here cannot retrieve the firmware due to the caches.

Finally my usb flap is giving way. The flap now cannot be fully closed, I close it and it will pop up a bit after a while. No matter how much pressure I use on it.
Anyone facing the same problem?? Sony will do for free under warranty??

My Sony software on my laptop just bumped and indicated that I have new firmware updates for my Xperia Z. But I think I will kiv a few more days see how the reviews go first.

Yup, those who has Singtel cust ID got the update first, generic SG not receiving yet (as of now).

Ok, confirmed that AR Effect for camera is available for Z in the 4.3 update.

You can also download third party AR Effect such as Line AR or Hello Kitty AR (Only for HK Google play).

Don't know about you guys but I feel that the battery seems to last quite a while longer!

Performance wise it feels a bit snappier cause the animations seem to be 'faster'

The only crappy thing about this new update is that for users who utilise the 'tools' widget (me, lol) where you can access wifi, data etc - when you press flight mode it redirects you into settings where you have to tick flight mode again... so its troublesome!

Other than that its a nice update!
