no its switched off. but i have battery guru installed which i think has this manage the wifi thing, ytd it started to auto switch on my wifi when im at home and i got annoyed by it i switched off wifi management on the app and it became like tt.

i dono i find battery guru very gimmicky, all the settings i can manually set also, if u wanna save battery, disable maps, u will have enough to last the day with moderate usage

Using Screen off and Lock app, no problem with it.

You can do location based wifi. The moment you reached a known wifi location, it will auto turn on. Once you leave the location, wifi will switch off automatically.

But what if I activate it at home, it since like the wifi is auto on and still running when in sleep mode. Can anyone confirm it is still running when in sleep mode? As i found the battery is draining like mad.

Ok will try again and monitor. Not sure is it due the notification light been blinking the whole nite that causes it to drain the battery meh.

I found the UI still not as smooth as compare to iPhone - is it just only me?

Tolong ah,bought the phone ytd at IT fair few hours later got one very faint line of dead pixels at the middle,go service center say need wait till wednesday for exchange ;_;

yes sony default UI is crap, go get Nova, using it right now, as smooth as a girl's backside
u can also use Go launcher or Apex all v smooth

go settings>apps>scroll right to ALL apps> scroll down look for maps
click uninstall updates
then click disable
