Intending to buy the phone & root but realised that current method of rooting requires unlocked bootloader & DRM keys will be lost forever resulting in apps such as trackID & Bravia Engine to not work anymore.

trackID still work after unlock....BE2 i dont really care..it's quite a useless function to me..

mine rooted after 2 days of usage..currently still on insecure kernel by doomlord and using RomAur v1.2.1 which have status and navigation bar change to dark black color

yea i followed DoomLord threads.

Am on the insecure kernel by doomlord as well.

But I'm using the CF Auto Root ROM i think. The one that is as close to stock as possible.

I not sure if i wanna flash the black status and nav bar ROM.

I flash the CWM recovery though.

try RomAur v1.2.1... you wouldnt be regret...

It will not work with the newer 11pin Samsung S3/Note 2 MHL adapter

Xperia Z Singtel Pace Router Issue

Hi bros. For those on Singtel, i believe most of us are facing issues whereby the PACE router automatically restarts every time the xperia z is connected to it.

I have given singtel a call and highlighted this issue to them, citing all the posts pertaining to this matter within this particular thread. Have been assured that this will be escalated above.

Hopefully this matter can be resolved asap, as I am sure none of us would want to exceed the data usage by not being able to connect to wifi.

Yes, that is what has been mentioned in this thread. But the singtel cso i spoke to was clueless over this matter and none could offer a viable solution for the time being. Am now not sure what exactly can be done to remedy this

Ask for the 2wire modem.. They changed mine and it's working fine... I asked abt the difference and the technician told me the 2wire supposedly have lower range but from what I experienced, it's the same... I still can use WiFi in my room but not the corner end... Same as pace

I was playing around with my camera setting when I realize 1 thing. Turning on the HDR mode seems to activated the noise reduction feature. Without it, the photo seems to be more noisy.

That pretty much explains why certain review site using Superior auto mode complains the photo to be nosier.

Using my XZ with my MBP.
Use the Sony Bridge for Mac software, can upload media from your MBP to your XZ.
