No. I dun believe in task killer cos if you kill those apps which the system require then you are actually draining more battery as the system will launch that app again after you kill it.

I just use the app task list in the default firmware to swipe off those apps which I no longer using then leave those common apps which I used often like sms or whatsapp.

oooh where is this apps task list at? past few days didn't have to rely on stamina mode or low battery mode but after downloading a couple of apps, battery has been draining damn fast. 5 hours and 40 percent gone already.

jeez anybody face this issue?
when u use line and take a photo to send, the taken photo is tilted right instead of the original position u have taken !

anyone experience this?

also video playing also tilted.

and do u all experience the clock lag and only update and refresh when u check it?
eg top right display 1915
then you go yur home page u see 18XX then 1-2s it refreshes and become 1915
instead of immediately always same time with latest time?

Brother, you know the 3 touch screen buttons and the exteme right button will bring up the apps list which is currently running in the background so you just have to swipe left or right to kill it from the memory.

If you download those apps which keep running in the background then it is normal for the battery to drain fast.

Guys,

Be very careful when purchase Xperia Z from retail shop....

My friends who bought the Xperia Z purple color from a reputable retail shop and the warranty is not honored by Sony, as he was rejected on the spot by Sony in not servicing the set.

His set is faulty after 1week of use i,e cannot power on. Then went to service center have it repair. But sony rejected it by saying the set is purchase at a anauthorised shop which sell at a price ($850) way below RRP ($988).

My friend went back to the shop kpkb, then the shop told him he is the 3rd person kpkb on this. In the end, the Shop re issue another receipts and change the price from 850 to 988. Then he go back to Sony and they accepted. Wtf man......

Now all the reputable shop selling xperia z either dont put price or indicated a price of $988....

So in conclusion, get the set from telco, or get the set from people buying from telco...to prevent dispute...

Yes, you are right as the Service Centre has been informed by Sony Mobile Sg to reject those Xperia Z bought at those dedicated mobile shops, those listed mobile shops have also been informed by Sony Mobile Sg to sell at the retail price.

These shops are really very bad as they have their sources with low cost in buying the stocks then they just throw prices lower and lower in order to attract sales and this indirectly affecting the brand image.

Anyone can check on their Xperia Z 4.1.2 under "Settings" > "Storage" browse all the way to the bottom there's an option to transfer data to SD card. i saw a demo set which was low on internal memory & there was a prompt to inform user to transfer data to SD Card. Is this equivalent to Apps to SD??

I have to disagree on this. Brand image is more adversely affected by dissatisfied customers having to go back to the retailers when they face phone issues, as compared to sale of the phone at slightly lower prices. Mind you, the retailers are not selling the phone at ridiculously low prices. If Sony Mobile Singapore isn't happy with the lower-than-RRP, then it should deal directly with the suppliers or retailers, instead of inconveniencing (already unhappy) customers.

It's not the same as Apps to SD. You can only move videos, music or photos using that option, not apps data.

I also disgree lor. If brand image is about increasing its price to make it look branded, then this company is hopeless le...

Sony merely shoot themselves in the foot badly. What is there for them to lose in long term if customers are buying it at slightly below RP? It only show that they are sucking blood quietly (and happily) but doesn't want to share the pie with others. Imagine if price hits say below $800 and more ppl start buying, it will also create a craze of ppl getting it and from there Sony builds a bigger share of the market.

I am rather disappointed with the lag when launching the camera app. This hopefully is something that can be fixed with future firmware. Photo post processing as well.
