I use the battery guru app to manage wifi , the app turns out to be very good compared to stamina mode , it gives almost a day's battery with probably 15% remaining..

There's an option in the settings dont keep apps as soon as but I don't know if it works or not

Battery guru app wil auto turn on wifi once the wifi network is detected... However it doesnt auto turn off the phone mobile data, u got to turn it off manually...

For example, when u turn on yr home wifi, the z wifi wil auto turn on.. But u stil need to tap off the mobile data on phone for it to connect to yr home wifi..

No. I dun believe in task killer cos if you kill those apps which the system require then you are actually draining more battery as the system will launch that app again after you kill it.

I just use the app task list in the default firmware to swipe off those apps which I no longer using then leave those common apps which I used often like sms or whatsapp.

Previously, with the X10 and Arc and Xperia S, Sony bundled additional screen protectors, on top of the ant-shatter film that was pre-applied to the screen.

Guys,

Be very careful when purchase Xperia Z from retail shop....

My friends who bought the Xperia Z purple color from a reputable retail shop and the warranty is not honored by Sony, as he was rejected on the spot by Sony in not servicing the set.

His set is faulty after 1week of use i,e cannot power on. Then went to service center have it repair. But sony rejected it by saying the set is purchase at a anauthorised shop which sell at a price ($850) way below RRP ($988).

My friend went back to the shop kpkb, then the shop told him he is the 3rd person kpkb on this. In the end, the Shop re issue another receipts and change the price from 850 to 988. Then he go back to Sony and they accepted. Wtf man......

Now all the reputable shop selling xperia z either dont put price or indicated a price of $988....

So in conclusion, get the set from telco, or get the set from people buying from telco...to prevent dispute...
