at main screen press and hold for selection menu to pop up -> APPS -> SHORTCUTS -> DIRECT DIAL

my camera app takes about 1 to 2 sec to activate. (can feel the delay)
is this normal for your xperia z too?

Currently all Xperia Z has this problem - hopefully Sony will fix it in coming updates.
For time being keep Camera app running in background, then it will launch quickly.

You got try factory reset before you proceed with other things when you get your phone?

Ive been connecting to wifi whole day no issue.

I have no problems with the phone. Only that it causes a whole lot of problem for the router (Singtel Fibre - Pace) at home as the router restarts every few minutes and as a result, no one else in the house can use the internet to surf. I can connect to WiFi elsewhere with no problems.

What router are you using? Thanks in advance.

I think anyone can take , but limited stocks , so planing to go at 12 today and pick one up , also Bugis junction are closed from 9-2 for stock intake and chances are they are getting the stocks too today..

same here. once connect to singtel's router the router will restart every few minutes

For those with router prob, I also faced it.. The technician came and changed the modem to a completely black one.. Now my phone have no prob connecting... I asked the technician abt the difference btw the modem... He says my current one (which he brought here) is the older version but more stable... Supposedly have smaller WiFi range (but I feel no diff) maybe u can call and ask abt tat..

I got no issue connecting via wifi at my home all day too....using Asus N66u

Is yours modem Pace? I faced the same problem even after change another Pace?

Sry.. I'm not very sure... But it's the singtel one.. They dun give a lot of other different brand I suppose.. I only noe they took away the newer model and replaced it with the older one.. Maybe I'll check when I go home

Hmm... xperia blog mentioned the display use on docomo SO-02 is better than the one in Z. And you can get the SO-02 for like S$7XX locally...much cheaper than Z @ S$8XX...

If you dont wan LTE, it is a good deal. Docomo give the docking station also.
