GSM arena did a camera head to head with XZ and HTC one
Comments from Kyle, Mod in GSM arena, :

"Surely the Xperia Z 13MP samples are quite a mess, but when downsized to the HTC One 4MP resolution...well... Z's pictures are better. Or way better. Really good job, Sony!

Never thought I'd be so happy with my decision to exchange my S III with Xperia Z. The design is awesome, the battery life too. If only it could take as awesome panorama shots as the iPhone 4S/5, the camera would have been perfect. But nothing is that perfect, right?

We'll do a lot more camera tests for our review, don't worry

Kyle"

i assumed u turned off your data roaming right?

Yes, no data roaming.
Just use the cached maps and turn on GPS.

Thinking of getting the Z. Does it have compass function? Can't find the info on Sony specifications site.....

For XZ indicator on Mobile Network:
2G = G
3G = H
4G = LTE

Mine's 2G, 3G, H, H+ and LTE.

[happy2day]

I got extra 1g for recontract. My $50++ pm plan has 3gb originally... So total 4gb is sufficient for me..

But im fed up with the speed.. Either the LTE or chrome browser something wrong...

May I know which Telco u subscribe to?

[IceShelterX]

Mine's 2G, 3G, H, H+ and LTE.

I think H is 3.5G and H+ is 3.75G Correct me if im wrong

May I know which Telco u subscribe to?

only m1 give 1gb extra if you give re-contract.. unless Singtel or SH to follow suite

[IceShelterX]

the ice water might dmg the phone due to the sudden drop in temperature...

oh well i think my phone might be the best quality phone created by Sony... at least i had no problem with notification, no sound, phone dead, easily scratched anti shatter film... hmm any else problem my phone never encountered... oh i forgot... it can survived ice water swimming session...

How do I uninstall chrome?

[frocee]

How do I uninstall chrome?

Chrome is a system app, you need to be rooted to remove it.

Also, if you intend to use the AOSP browser, you need to uninstall the BrowserProviderProxy.apk for it to work, otherwise it force closes.

[CoolSilverRider]

How do I uninstall chrome?

Go "Play Store" and search for it, and there you can uninstall it.

Hoping to join the Xperia Z club soon!

Been to IT show last weekend. Decided to get one xperia Z but the q has ended that night. Thus they advised me to scan the QR code and wait for Starhub to call me!

Finally they have called. They will honour the deal at IT show but without the $30 robinsons vouchers. The deal will include a Sony NFC headset, DBS/POSB $30 discount off the price, extra 1GB data for 6 months. Have to wait for the purple set! Currently out of stock! Hopefully it comes soon!
