Hi all, I sent in my phone on the 12th May for repair and they called me to collect a new replacement phone yesterday. Phone is upgraded to the latest firmware.

During this 1 week waiting period, i emailed, facebook PM and called them to highlight my case. I guess that did the trick. You can also try calling the Bishan service centre at 6358 1883 as that is their office line number.

I know this post is like months ate, but...

I got to use the free earphones a couple of days ago in office because I didn't wanna waste the juice of the free NFC headphones (too lazy to charge cos I was docking both my Z and Tablet Z)...

.. and whoa! Good sound quality. Way better than the NFC headphone. Not bad for a free accessory.

Anyway did anybody test out the NFC throw ability between the phone and tablet yet? Seems awkward to me, and the photos needed time to transfer over before being able to be displayed onto the receiving device, unlike the demos shown in the commercials. Did I do anything wrong?

And also, we have to specifically let the 2 points touch (the area where the NFC sticker used to be when you first bought your phone), not like can just touch any areas between your phone/tablet.

Well, I have to say, I am very satisfied with this year's Xperia and tablet. Maybe I will be using them for more than 2 years, or after they break down, whichever comes first.

Unless... Next year Sony manages to come up with a phone which is more chio than this~

The duration only applies when the phone is on stand by. No phone is able to last that long when you are constantly using it.

Yes, warranty is still valid as per usual. I signed a form that states that I can only have a 1-for-1 exchange set. The next time my phone sends for service again, it will only be repaired and serviced but not replaced.

NFC function does not throw the picture files but it just make a connection between two phones and transfer via bluetooth.

Bluetooth function as you know, takes time to transfer files.

Tested with Z and TX.

I had a questions lol, when i got the charging dock for the xperia z and use it for a few times i feel that my batt(uAh) drops alot but when normal charging through the cover flip i gain quite alot of batt(uAh). It is normal for it or is something wrong with the dock? Before using the dock my batt(uAh) was around 2370-90 now is 2335-50. Do you all guys had this kind of situations before??

It is too technical. I personally been charging with dock so I don't feel any differences.

now my stamina mode estimated standby time go back to the kee siao stage where it does not reflect correctly. if i remember correctly, at 100% battery it shows 8 hours only.

btw, anyone know how to clear the search history of the email app?
