Hard Reset = Factory Reset meaning total wipe.

Even when I first got the phone from the shop, I immediately check the phone using "SERVICE" code and hard reset the phone.

After which, I slowly take my own sweet time at home to do setup.

Ok I just did a stupid thing. Somehow my camera lens had water droplets on it so I used a hair dryer to try to dry them. Long story short, the water droplets dried up but the sides of my phone has hairline cracks due to extreme heat from the haur dryer.

Anyone knows if Sony will be able to replace just the sides of the phone? I'm willing to pay for it as long as the cost is reasonable.

i think any kind of micro usb cable can work..i used another cable, dono from where, also can use.

It'll take some time before the battery "settles down" after the update. Let it run for a few cycles (charge and discharge).

ya then i tried to update using PC companion on the com. I lost root.

Yes, best is to buy the 11 pins.

11 pins is the S3/S4/N2 mhl usb to hdmi.
our xz only need the normal 5 pins ones.
