What you meant? full charge only 94%? My full charge is 100%. What is your Z firmware version?

yah shows fully charged at ard 94%.. Firmware is 253 I think.

i think your definition of charged is when you see the indicator turn green? from what i noticed, it will turn green after 90% but it doesnt mean that its fully charged. 100% is full charge.

yes indicator turns green and on screen when unlocking phone it says charged, n a prompt that says please remove cable or sth.
I assume the phone is not charging anymore at that point.


Will try again tonight. didn't bring my phone out today

Yes, when the phone reaches 100% of the battery power, it will stop charging and it will start to charge back if it drops below 100%, this is to prevent overcharging to the battery.

That explains why other brands like Samsung suffers battery overcharging as their phone PCB board do not have this feature.

check yr cable it could be loose so that message might pop out. i sometimes accidentally nudge the phone will pop that message too

Nut just released a definitive solution to those encountering the reboot upon mounting r/w in root explorer issue. very useful for those on locked bootloader especially.

it came a bit too late for me. i am on CM10.1 already. wondering when Doomkernel is going to be ported for CM10.1

almost 140 different

I think singtel is waiving the additional 50 moola for cis plan. got mine from the show with that waived automatically. that's according to my receipt. didn't verbally ask them.

So far these are the problems I face after using this phone for two weeks:

1) cannot change keyboard unless I set it as default, meaning he shortcut to select keyboard is not working.

2) when I open a Whatsapp notification , I can't reply - cannot key in anything unless I exit from the conversation to the Whatsapp main page, select that conversation before I can reply.

3) the GPS signal receiving is weak when inside a building even with wifi on. It cannot detect my location but works fine outside building.

Also can someone teach me how to take screen shot without pressing the power button? I wanted to take a screenshot of the keyboard selection screen to post online but can't do it as whenever I press the menu button, the keyboard selection menu would disappear.

Any help/suggestion on how to resolve the above issues would be greatly appreciated.

Bro, i having same issue as you for Whatsapp keyboard. Mine will sometimes jump to google search instead of displaying the text i type. have u solved your problem?

Hi all
Anyone having the following problems with xperia z?:-
No phone vibrate
Moving dots with using the camera (doesn't look like specks of dust)
mobile reception signal drops to zero even though on the same network with my colleagues.

Just to check, are these possible causes due to firmware updates etc?
