Looks like a miniusb-microusb cable is required...

You need it for the initial pairing process. Subsequently will be communicating through bluetooth.

Can borrow from someone or see which shop have then bring along your controller + phone to test it out

Liking the update so far! Found out you can even turn any widget into small apps now! Pretty cool

oh and lockscreen with pattern unlock looks better too

Can i press the buttons on the phone while submerge in water?

Since we need to open the flap every time we charge, wont it affect the waterproofing feature after numerous time of opening and closing the flap?

Yes, you can press the buttons. And yes, it may affect the waterproofing feature due to wear and tear.

While this is encouraged, it is not a necessary process. I updated without wiping data and it works fine.
