With regards to battery drain, switching to satin a mode definitely helps. It is back to normal.

Immediately u will notice, screen is using the most battery and not android os. Just like before.

I suspect the main culprit is Facebook. There might be some incompatibility with 4.3.

but for my ex-case, it is kernel (android os) that causing the drainage. after repairing thru ***, it is back to normal. better that before. used to drain abt 10% per nite...now abt 8%.

after much self testing regarding battery drain, at first i thought was facebook, but it turns out to be WIFI!

just off wifi when not in use, battery goes back to normal.

Most likely is due to the wifi. IF you actually notice, the wifi signal strength improve after the update.

my problem is with Multisim

I have no idea why my multisim that is the big sim has proper connection in my tablet and my modem

My singtel prepaid card can autoswitch between 3g and H+ automatically so I don't get data loss

My M1 Minisim card in my xperia Z has the H or sometimes not even a H but there is totally no data coming in

And it only happens in office ....

didn't have this issue till i upgraded to 4.3

It is understandable for tablet or bigger devices to have better connection, size matters.

It seems to me that it is likely the problem with your office space.
I also get no LTE signal in office, which i switch to 3G network with no problems.

Er i think its a combination of issues

1) I upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3
2) I have multisim
3) My friends and colleagues on m1 with only 1 card don't have this issue

Er actually I don't even mind a GPRS connection now. problem is I get no data whatsoever.

The funny thing is when I put the other tablet multisim card in a Huawei E585 modem and hotspot my xperia Z to it via wifi the internet is working, I can even finish downloading a 40mb app from the google play store without it hanging there.

Its like my simcard or phone cannot tell which phone or tablet is on and directs the internet connection to the other sim card instead.

OK, if you think your phone firmware got problem, you can always reflash it with PC Companion.

But do backup before fixing your phone.
