omg.. you guys are making me lean towards zenfone 5...
the only 2 things stopping me now is the buttons are not lit and people keep saying battery life is bad...
i guess unlit buttons can get used to it. but battery life.... is it really that bad?
for me, i'm used to having my phones last from morning 9am to evening 9pm. and still at least have 10 - 20 % left. capable of doing this? I'm not a very heavy user. maybe sometimes play some 20-30 minutes game on train. whatsapp and line, email checking and web browsing a bit. oh and i always leave google now on and all the background syncing on.
If u need a phone w/ strong batt, forget zf5. I'm not saying it's bad, it still can last through out a day but u need to monitor your usage closely. I'm running on ultra-saving mode (ie, data network auto cut off when phone in sleep), no game, disable almost all sync update, 2 sim and do quite alot of FB/net surfing... it has ard 10%~15% when i get home.
In other words, u can't use it to perform many tasks on the road if you don't want to carry your power bank...
And forget abt those battery saver apps, they can drain your batt more than saving it.
Other than its mediocre batt life, zf5 is a great dual-sim phone on the market. However, if dual-sim is not a must for you, you might wanna look else where (say, mi3).
