Same for mine, after the firmware update, the speaker is not so loud now. When I first bought the phone, I was very impressed with the speaker, now ... haiz

Just my phone got notified that a system update is available, shld i go run it?
Does it help to improve the battery life?...Does it even improve anything?
Am quite happy with current system... scared tat after update things might get worse, like the speaker volume that ppl mentioned earlier...

The Audio Wizard is off after the update. After I turn it on, the sound become same as before.

Yes, there are. Processor, internal memory, battery capacity, rear camera pixel, etc...

I've did some testing to clean install the same latest version FW today.

Hard reset via setting or at boot or wipe via recovery won't give a clean install, whatever system apps you've deleted previously stays deleted. Root still stays if rooted.

Adb sideloading will clean install the FW back to factory stock.

Ota won't work if rooted. Unroot to get ota also cannot.
So stay rooted, download latest FW to root folder and let phone detect the update. Root stays, everything stays. If you unroot and update, everything stay but you cannot root back after update. Then you have to reset/wipe and root again.

Battery saving tips!

Setting>Power Management>Power Consumption Table
Top left menu select, Keep Awake and Keep Awake Background.
If you have apps that you've downloaded that prevents the phone from sleeping(keep awake), select the app, scroll down and check "Prevent device from keeping awake".

hope to switch to this phone from my current xperia p, but scare the batt not lasting. my xperia p only 1350mAh, can't really last long.
