Not at all. Of course, it will not be as fine as the screens from S5, Z2, etc. but its still decent enough. As its only a 5 inch screen, pixelated/jagged edges isnt as obvious as bigger screens with the same 720p resolution.

I would like to add that Asus has included an app called Splendid that u can use to fine tune colour temperature, hue and saturation to your personal taste. In addition, there's also a Reading Mode for text which can be turned on.

Can check with you,the resolution is only 294ppi. Is it very poor when you use it ?

So SG can only get the 2X2: Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz with with 1 GB ram version @ $199/$249 right? Lower specs but higher price as usual.

On my 2GB RAM ZF5, after installing all the apps that i need (some that loads during bootup), i'm left with 1.2GB RAM free. I guess its wise to pick the 2GB RAM model since swapping will slow the phone down. :(

All wanna buy 16gb/2gb ram version :o

One correction with regards to Zenfone 5's notification LED. I mistook it believing that the LED only works as a charging indicator. Turns out the notification LED function was broken as a result of upgrading to the V0430 firmware. Someone posted a fix at another forum and my notification LED is now working.

So u dont like the Zenfone 5? Giving to yr sis instead??? :s22:

This broken notification LED bug has been reported at the official taiwan Asus Zenfone 5 support forum. Its apparent that some users are affected by it after upgrading to the latest V0430 firmware. The biggest joke is that the Asus engineers have no idea what is wrong, claiming that they have already tested V0430 before releasing. What is worse, they suggested that the affected users perform a factory reset. Some chaps did so as recommended just to find themselves back to square one after the hassle. The notification LED is still not working. :(

Someone adventurous enough took a Motorola developed app called Notification Light Widget (u can find it at Play Store) and installed it onto ZF5. The app was written to resolve a similar issue for Motorola G. Well, it also works for ZF5. ;)

The thing to take note of ZF5's notification LED is it is made up of only 2 colour LEDs, red and green. There's no blue LED. Basically, u will be limited to orange, green and red when u are configuring the colours with 3rd party notification LED applications.
