If a phone can last u 3 yrs then u must consider yourself lucky already.
My nokia lasted me 6 years and still going strong... don't even need to change battery..

Is it just me or practically none of the usual review sites did reviews on zenfone5 except for a minor few![]()
Was wondering if the build in battery is a disadvantage, deal breaker compared to the redmi which has a removable battery. Most build in batteries can last for a couple of years but I tend to use my phone for more than that. Would that be a problem for me? Appreciate any advise as still deciding between the redmi and zen 5. many thanks.
Read this is one issue that many consider quite thoroughly before buying a phone. The redmi has a removable battery and the asus zen 5 has an in built battery. Prefer the aus phone but wonder if the I build battery will be an issue as I tend to use my phone for more than a couple of years. Appreciate any comments to help me make a choice. Many thanks in advance
Vdry honestly,
Forgot to charge my phone on Sunday night so when i woke up i got shocked! Die lah. Rushing to work already so i quickly charge my phone till 75% then left for work. Since I work with kids, taking pics is important so besides whatsapping, i took pics using my Zenfone5.
It lasted me with facebook, though i used wifi, and went home and changed for dinner wiuth colleagues. i didnt charge at all. Dinner, took lots of selfies with colleagues and battery died at 11pm. If i used my s3, the battery would have died long ago.
Loving the zenfone really very much. Quite a lot of people asking me where I got it and how much. The finishing, most people cant believe its cheap phone. I honestly love the camera function. You will like it or hate it.
Is it a build in battery?
Got, meNo. it's a removable battery. My phone is E75,the type you can slide sideway.nowadays i only use it to listen to radio on speaker mode, and to make calls only. Trusty old phone.
I read some where that a removable battery will increase the dimension by 40%,compared to a built in battery model. But then, nowadays got pple carry a spare battery and swap it,instead of using a powerbank ?
Spare battery can just put inside wallet
but this habit will change when I get ZF5

currently using my Asus Padfone2 charger which is 2.0a. Im using my ThL USB wire. I've a few other usb wire around. the charger and USB is still in my zenfone box. I do agree, wire makes a lot of difference.
no big deal as i carry a 10 000mah and 12000mah portable charger with me. Just bought an Anker Astor Pro2 for my laptop, so now i have 3 portable chargers with me lol. I'm always mobile hence the need for power. Also, in class sometimes only have few power sockets, so other classmates will be using. lazy to lug around an extension wire..
You misunderstood me. I mean, after you get zenfone, you will need a powerbank since the battery is not removable. So you will put the powerbank in your wallet ? Ha haHmmm...I curious to know how you put a powerbank inside wallet...
Hi Alamin2 and TheWiseOne,
Are you using the 1.6GHz or the 2GHz processor for ZF5? I wonder how different is the performance? Hopefully the 1.6GHZ will perform well also.
